Cambrian ‎– Mobular - CD Digi

A surreal and alienating combination of very slow Hawaiian lap-steel scores and elephantine sludge/doom riffs with compelling blues shades. It's as if Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath were jamming with Earth and Sleep on a Hawaiian beach at sunset.

Limited edition 300 copies.

Carne - Modern Rituals - CD-Digi

The french duo comes back with a new album, Modern Rituals, plunging deeper into the urban blend of noise and sludge already settled on their previous release, Ville Morgue.
This new record expresses all their skepticism and unease towards a society where sarcasm and mediocrity became criterias of appreciation if not values to be defended at all cost. A society that constantly and repeatedly broadcasts its own decay, drowning masses in a sea of ignorance and ready-made reflections.

Modern Rituals marks on a new step in Carne’s methodical research of more darkness, loudness and sombre psychedelism.

Catheter ‎– Dimension 303 - CD

Denver's cantankerous trio return bringing their sophomore release "Dimension 303". Following-up to the band's vicious trademark sonic assault, the album lays to waste eighteen intense, kick-to-the-face hypergrind bursts of relentless auditory damage.

Catheter plays violent, catchy grindcore seething with crust, punk, doom and sludge elements dusting the final product. Powerful production and superb musician skills just complete this grind entity, making "Dimension 303" a monstrous masterpiece from one of the most proficient and dedicated grind acts around.

Catheter ‎– Preamble To Oblivion - CD

18 songs of brutal masterful Colorado grindcore bulldozer in the vein of Phobia, Repulsion and old Napalm Death plus some sludge parts like Eyehategod or 16.

The CD contains also 10 more tracks from "Headfucker" 7" and live cuts from their gig at Bluebird Theater '02 that are not on US pressing. Additionally they played three cover songs by Napalm Death, Repulsion and The Accused. "Preamble To Oblivion" bring us big dose of good-sounding and well-played grind at the highest level of brutality and technique which places these Denver, Colorado thrashers on the top of American scene .

You can't miss it!!!

Catheter ‎– Southwest Doom Violence - CD

After years of angst-ridden anticipation from a ravenous fanbase, Denver's grindcore gargantuans CATHETER unleash their first full-length album since 2005.

The follow-up to Dimension 303", amidst an incredible arsenal of split releases, EPs and demos over the years, CATHETER's new opus is so obliteratingly heavy that upon first listen you'll quickly forgive them for the delay since the last album, and immediately tear your own head off in utter joy.

As always appropriately entitled, "Southwest Doom Violence" surges with CATHETER's pissed-off style, an immediate adrenaline-booster for fans of classic, ripping grindcore in the tradition of REPULSION, TERRORIZER, PHOBIA, early NAPALM DEATH, with crust and doom metal infiltrating the mix.

Crypt Trip ‎– Haze County - CD Digi

Crypt Trip returns! Following their last album “Rootstock” the Texas rockers are delivering more Cosmic American sounds straight to your ears, mind, and soul. Their new album, “Haze County”, sonically and lyrically explores the complexities of space and time and then brings you back down to the very Earth you’re made of.

Crypt Trip ‎– Rootstock - CD Digi

Take a trip with "Rootstock", the new album from the Texas natives Crypt Trip. You'll find that the use of mind-altering substances is not necessary to feel the raw psychedelic power of the band's sophomore effort. With its many peaks and valleys, "Rootstock" will take you on a journey through musical dynamics and diverse musicianship. You will be confronted throughout with both high-energy rock and gentle moments of refined delicacy. No gimmicks. No strings attached. This is a simple and pure representation of three musicians in a collaborative effort to give you unfiltered Texas hard rock.

Dead Witches ‎– The Final Exorcism - CD Digi

Dead Witches roar back from the studio on two wheels, Chuckalumba, where the fabled sessions for Dopethrone and Let Us Prey by Electric Wizard were recorded and Dead Witches debut Ouija. Sessions began on the full moon 25th August in the heart of the New Forest deep in Dorset, the hallowed home of 90's doom legends and Electric Wizard folklore, marking Mark’s fourth time in both bands at Chuckalumba. A banshee wail of woeful siren song weaving a sinister world of horror doom, through waves of burgeoning fuzz and hell sent thunder on the drum kit. Realising the magnitude of what they had committed to tape, Dead Witches began to seek Doug Shearer, wizard of mastering and the final member in the coven. His previous also including Dopethrone and Let Us Prey.

Deadsmoke ‎– Mountain Legacy - CD Digi

Mountain Legacy is an album exploring something fundamental to humanity: ISOLATION.
The illusion of silence, which is a natural non-existing concept, is perfectly described by synthetized sounds and noises of the newly acquired band member Claudio Rocchetti (In Zaire). These sounds are missing on the first self-titled release of Deadsmoke, so now the old tracks have been enriched and new ones have been composed providing a consistent psych-disturbed synthetized sound. Six brand new tracks featuring deep guitar fuzz and growling bass take the listener on a journey through the woods, alternating lightly groovy rhythms with sludge-doom cadences.

Dzjenghis Khan ‎– Dzjenghis Khan - CD-Digi

One of the most important Psych - Acid Rock albums of the new millenium. The Dzjenghis Khan self-titled debut album was released in 2007 by the Dutch indipendent label Motorwolf. The San Francisco based band Dzjenghis Khan featured bassist Carson Binks (also in Wild Eyes and Saviours), drummer Tommy Tomson and guitarist Lane Rider. This record reflects the musical scene of that era and it's still a raw acid rock pearl! Heavy Psych Sounds Records is so proud to bring back to the current audience a piece of real Acid Rock. Dzjenghis Khan was one of the first bands to bring back the “psych sound”, in a time where there was not real audience, we can say they've been pioneers after the pioneers!
