Wight proudly present their fourth studio album "Spank the World" - and as anyone who has been following the band's previous releases should have come to expect, things turn out a whole lot different once again.

Connected by a common theme of humanity on its self-centered path to demise before finally being put out of their misery by an intergalactic council who have had enough - by way of a giant fucking planet - destroying robot of course - Wight present a daring journey through the worlds of rock, funk, jazz and world music. "Spank the World" is a fusion album in the truest sense of the word.

Sometimes, things today are better than they used to be. But that's not always the case. WIGHT know exactly when to take queues from the modern world and when to go back to the roots. Combining a powerful groove with complexity and extraordinary musicianship, they celebrate their musical journey throughout times past and present. Presenting doom-based psychedelic rock at the beginning of their career, WIGHT these days are Miles (Davis) ahead of that. Their carefully crafted fusion rock sound incorporates influences from artists as diverse as the Beatles, Parliament/Funkadelic and Mahavishnu Orchestra. Throw in some African rhythms and sounds along the lines of Osibisa, and the sun will rise even in the coldest and darkest places.

¡PENDEJO! is a four-piece heavy rock band from the Netherlands, founded by two cousins with a history in Latin America. Digging into their latino roots, El Pastuso and Jaap 'Monchito' Melman started blending heavy riffage, pounding drums, right-in-your-face lyrics in urban Spanish about the weirdest stories in life, and to top it all off, a screaming trumpet.

'Cantos a la Vida' (2010), the band's first full length album, was initially released in Spain and got stunningly positive reviews there.
Their music has been described as heavy, addictive, rough and grooving, or as a Spanish critic so eloquently put it: "Heavy rock in Spanish with balls the size of Danny de Vito".

It's been five years since Washington D.C based fuzz rockers, Borracho, released their last studio record, Atacama - a record that was hailed as "one of 2016's finest in heavy rock and roll" by unofficial voice of the underground, The Obelisk.

Borracho further refine their sound with Pound of Flesh. Everything you loved from the bands Spitting the Sky/Oculus days, through to their more recent success with 2016's Atacama, is still very much present - but there is a certain sense of confidence and/or purpose to the sound and production that grabs the listener by the neck and says "Listen up". What follows is over 50 minutes of brand new, fuzzed out heavy riff-fuelled rock that will be sure to send shock-waves through the scene when it erupts later this summer.
