Liers In Wait ‎– Spiritually Uncontrolled Art - LP Colored

Cult Swedish Death Metal from the early 90s!
The material carry a huge influence from faster USDM bands like Morbid Angel, Deicide and Malevolent Creation, spiced up with some frenetic, cosmic and philosophical atmosphere, lyrics rooted deeply in the Mythos of H.P. Lovecraft.
Spiritually Controlled Art is 17 minutes long only but a fine example of how bands were taking the pure death metal strains of both shores and twisting them into novel formulas.
The mix of cosmic, cerebral horror and violent, proficient death metal might not seem so novel anymore, but Liers in Wait were one of the first to make it stick, albeit briefly.

Crystal clear vinyl with yellow & orange speckless. Including 4 page full color booklet and hype sticker. Side B comes with etching from Liers In Wait original logo.

Rapture ‎– Silent Stage - 2LP

Final act of the Rapture discography with a memorable collection of gothic doom death tracks and showing a band experiencing the best burst of creativity before putting a (maybe temporary?) end to their activities.
“Silent Stage” was recorded and mixed at Sundi Coop studio (Finntroll, Ensiferum, Ajattara…) and mixed by Mika Jussila. Such a group of talented musicians just left a legacy that cannot be forgotten.

Rapture ‎– Futile - 2LP

Started off in Helsinki in 1997, Rapture was, according to their own words “Finland's finest Death/Doom export you may find.”.
And they were not wrong, including old Katatonia vibes mixed with catchy melodies and tunes. Rapture members have been involved in the Scandinavian metal scene being main acts in bands such as Shape Of Despair, Finntroll or Thy Serpent until today.

Almost 20 years after its first release, “Futile” is released on double gatefold vinyl limited to 400 copies.

Rapture ‎– Songs For The Withering - 2LP

After the big success of “Futile” in 1999, Rapture released the sophomore “Songs For The Withering”.
Austin Lunn from Panopticon would say on the album: “This album is for me, the joy and comfort in melancholy... The bittersweet sound track to autumn, the echoes of rainy days... Nostalgic yet relevant but above all, an honest and relatable glimpse into human sorrow. It is a warm but wet blanket, reminding me of worse days and how I fucking made it through: One foot in front of the other, consoled by the honest and exposing lyrics, powerful melodies and crushing drums of Rapture’s unsung masterpiece. Before the last breath, inhaling. Before the final death, to exhale and never let hope die that I would one day conquer the great distance."

Double black vinyl limited to 400 copies worldwide.
