Formed by Victor Love (Dope Stars Inc.) and Noras Blake (Spineflesh/Edenyzed), Epochate is a look at the eternal struggle generated by thought and power. Their debut album, Chronicles Of A Dying Era, is a mix of industrial rock with heavy and concrete orchestrations, cutting edge guitars and killer vocals. Delivering a sound that has yet to be explored, the concept album brings about an entirely new dimension of musical experience. Centering round the decline of mankind, Chronicles Of A Dying Era is a report of the attempts, defeats and victories of the human race through an age of wars, violence and arrogance. The strength of music, thoughts and ideals spawned a visually stunning 24 page booklet!
Original music composed, arranged and conducted by Franco Micalizzi.

More than 25 years in the making, Swedish folk rock pioneers GARMARNA continue to invent what music rooted in the Scandinavian tradition is about.
New album ‘Förbundet’ is a hard-hitting record that pushes the boundaries of traditional folk and defines the soul of GARMARNA.
One of the underlying themes of the record is facing the beauty of living and the beauty in saying goodbye.
Having always pushed to reinvent themselves with every record, GARMARNA does not shy away from modern, electronic influences on ‘Förbundet’. Simultaneously, the musicians also took a closer look at what they believe is the core of their music, calling it the most satisfying albums they have made so far.
Baroness' Yellow & Green finds a band that has developed into more than just giants of the metal underground, they are now fully formed hard rock titans.
Fans of the band have come to expect nothing less than constant evolution from Baroness and that is precisely what the band has delivered, but in ways noone could have anticipated: the hooks are immediately seared into your brain, riffs that take just one listen to fully lodge themselves in your consciousness and vocals that are sung both heavily and beautifully.
Double Picture Disc
One of the most important Psych - Acid Rock albums of the new millenium. The Dzjenghis Khan self-titled debut album was released in 2007 by the Dutch indipendent label Motorwolf. The San Francisco based band Dzjenghis Khan featured bassist Carson Binks (also in Wild Eyes and Saviours), drummer Tommy Tomson and guitarist Lane Rider. This record reflects the musical scene of that era and it's still a raw acid rock pearl! Heavy Psych Sounds Records is so proud to bring back to the current audience a piece of real Acid Rock. Dzjenghis Khan was one of the first bands to bring back the “psych sound”, in a time where there was not real audience, we can say they've been pioneers after the pioneers!

Worshippers of the dead be warned!!!
This camel is certainly not a lone voice in the wilderness. Especially since LONELY KAMEL indeed sound like a desert, but in truth come from Norway. And obviously traditional Hard Rock can be produced quite exquisitely between fjords and endless forests, which sound nice, meaty and dry. On their fourth album the Norwegians act in the tension between Hard Rock from the seventies, Stoner Rock, Blues, Psychedelic and a dash of Doom.
Nine tracks with everything the genre has to offer: from the rough, punky title track, which has a certain punk attitude over extended jams to compact four-minute earwigs. And thus is clear: LONELY KAMEL clearly belong to the spearhead of the European Rocker scene.
Stop & Go Grindcore, a mix between Yacopsae & Cephalotripsy, 1986, holds twenty-two songs, barely varied from twenty seconds to one minute and twenty seconds. One minute ditties of grind crust packed in crispy production are Jesus Cröst’s hallmark. While most power violence bands focus on short bursts of aggression to the detriment of everything else, Jesus Cröst at times also manage to put some melody into the mix. Sure, it's just brief snippets of melody, but it's enough to make the band stand out in the power violence crowd.
Gandhi's Gunn (now Isaak) sophomore album The Longer The Beard, The Harder The Sound, clearly revealed a band ready to transcending their core influences and explore more visionary and psychedelic territories.
We’re talking: churning riffs, elephantine grooves and raging growls, seasoned to perfection with lysergic flights, epic jams and even mesmerizing quieter passages, before being served al dente for consumption by our most discerning stoner rock patrons.
Original version on Black Vinyl. The album got later repressed by US label Small Stone Recordings with the band's new name: ISAAK!
"Il gatto a nove code" (The cat o 'nine tails), filmed in 1971, is the second film by Dario Argento, a horror thriller still distant from his horror works for which he will later become famous on an international level. The collaboration with the composer and conductor Ennio Morricone, already known for his work on Sergio Leone’s western movies, is here renewed after the success of "The Bird with the Crystal Plumage".
When the previous soundtrack for Argento’s first movie had proved to be a really tough listen, here Morricone goes even further, creating a really dissonant and avant-garde sound, with practically one single basis theme in the form of a few essential bass guitar notes.
This score is reissued by AMS Records in LP format with gatefold cover.
The second album by the Australian project established by Terry Vainoras, known for his participation in such sounding bands as Cryptal Darkness, InSomnius Dei and The Eternal.
The debut album which attracted the attention by complex structure of the compositions, unusual for death doom metal, and the occasional use of the saxophone, was continued at the «Contagiuum And The Landscapes Of Failure», however, at a higher quality level.
Long tracks filled with frequent tempo changes, different moods and emotional colors can cause interest not only among fans of death doom, but also among all who seek for diversity in heavy music, as the motto of the band is: "the dissonance, the atmosphere, the dynamics, the heaviness, the melody”.
Featuring Nasum drummer Anders Jakobson
MONOLORD make their Relapse Records debut with their new album, No Comfort.
The Swedish power trio channel the most exciting elements of driving rock and crushing stoner sludge to produce one of the year's most gripping and heavy albums.
Tracks like "The Bastard Son" and "The Last Leaf" showcase undeniable riffs piling over each other, continually evolving alongside heart-pounding drums with a bass attack that will make even the most conditioned ears bleed.
No Comfort elevates MONOLORD from one of the underground's best bands to true leaders of the genre.
Rarely does a band so seamlessly fuse absolutely heavy riffs with undeniable groove.
