De Doden Hebben het Goed is Wiegedood’s debut album, but we can hardly call this a debuting band. The band members have already proven their worth in other acts like Amenra, Oathbreaker, Hessian, Rise and Fall… This is surely an interesting gathering of musicians that immediately raises high expectations. And they deliver. Big time. Against all expectations, the result of this collaboration has nothing to do with post metal, sludge or hardcore. In stead, Wiegedood treats us to a relentless onslaught of atmospheric black metal. The title De Doden Hebben het Goed covers the album perfectly: it’s a very bleak take on extreme metal music, but never loses touch with the band members’ other projects.
Sound Effect and Deep Distance Records present "Daydream Melodies", the debut album by Free/Slope, aka Gothenburg, Sweden-based Daniel Fridlund Brandt. "Daydream Melodies" is a fully realized, rich-sounding, krautrockish psych mini-masterpiece of the highest caliber! Based on studio jams and improvisations, Free/Slope, through his almost jazz-like compositional technique, creates instrumental music with a classicist song-structure, while retaining some unmistakably loose, improvisational sensibility. His organic approach to recording adds to the spontaneity and acid-drenched feel of the record; woozy and otherworldy at the same time, "Daydream Melodies" demonstrates some rare musicality and artistry on a no-less-than-magical sound canvas.
Zeit is an Italian band blending Converge-like influences with hints of Swedish Death Metal, especially in the use of guitars. Highly technical Post Hardcore and heavy riffs.
With Dead Planet Oliveri has taken a band once considered a side project and turned it into a full-fledged rock and roll powerhouse.
As has been his trademark when he had written songs with Kyuss or QOTSA, this album just oozes with punk rock ethos.
Combined with the stoner rock influences that he helped create, this album is a study in excess and self-indulgence. And that is exactly what makes it so damn good.
The second and slightly more intelligible of Carcass' early albums lays down the foundation for the classic "Necroticism ..." to follow while retaining all of the pure Grind Crushing Fury of the debut, essential!
One of the most important Psych - Acid Rock albums of the new millenium. The Dzjenghis Khan self-titled debut album was released in 2007 by the Dutch indipendent label Motorwolf. The San Francisco based band Dzjenghis Khan featured bassist Carson Binks (also in Wild Eyes and Saviours), drummer Tommy Tomson and guitarist Lane Rider. This record reflects the musical scene of that era and it's still a raw acid rock pearl! Heavy Psych Sounds Records is so proud to bring back to the current audience a piece of real Acid Rock. Dzjenghis Khan was one of the first bands to bring back the “psych sound”, in a time where there was not real audience, we can say they've been pioneers after the pioneers!
I Malamondo, a strange and offbeat mondo-movie about the youth of the early ‘60s, directed by Paolo Cavara.
This is one of the earliest works of Maestro Morricone, as well as one of his most eccentric and colorful scores ever. Quirky and vivid, this soundtrack spans through many different kinds of music, from classic, bossanova and jazz to latin and exotica, including panoramic orchestral numbers and melodic, romantic themes. Most of the tracks feature the brilliant vocal performances of “I Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni” and “I 4+4 di Nora Orlandi”.
Carefully restored and remastered from the original master tapes, this edition includes 7 unreleased pieces (9 for the CD/Digital editions) and two tracks released on vinyl for the first time.
Throneless gift us these four brand new monolithic songs, for a 40 minutes running time. The record Is a perfect mix of the sound of bands as Yob, Ufomammut, Conan and Sleep!
"Spaceslug is legit! These guys are heavy retro rockers. Their debut album Lemanis was powerful; Time Travel Dilemma is masterful." -MoreFuzz
"Time Travel Dilemma is a magnificent album. What more can be said, apart from you need this album." -OutlawsOfTheSun
"There are aspects of Time Travel Dilemma that most certainly play to genre, but even these do so with a palpable intention toward leaving an individualized mark rather than simply repeating what's come before. To call that admirable would be an understatement." -TheObelisk

Uk's Sons of Alpha Centauri return for their second full-length album – an epic introspective journey of abrasive and ambient progressive electronic alt rock entitled Continuum.
Continuum is wrought with dark anthems and intense textures, introspective interludes with tidal waves of distortion. It is awash with soaring melodies and a deep underpinning of the darker side of light.
Heavy polyrhythmic duo from Bergamo (Italy) that channels the energy of the straightforward guitar & drums formula into irregular textures, bringing it back to the listener in geometric and distorted frames.
