Nebula - Dos E.P.'s - CD-Digi

Nebula is one of those bands that would have fit perfectly on a concert bill with Black Sabbath, Hawkwind, or the Stooges circa 1973. The power trio of Eddie Glass (vocals, guitars), Ruben Romano (drums), and Mark Abshire (bass) has quietly fused a somewhat modernized but highly distinctive '70s hard rock sound all its own. Releasing Dos Eps is a smart move, combining the very limited Sun Creature EP and the Meteor City split with three additional songs that groove on raunchy guitar hooks, opaque slacker vocals, and bleed-heavy drumming.

The Lords Of Altamont ‎– The Wild Sounds Of The Lords Of Altamont - CD-Digi

A hammered 4-stroke beat like a twin cylinder engine running on idle, a roaring guitar riff revving up the rpms of the iron-built motorcycle-inspired band, then the fresh and insisting breeze of a Farfisa organ whispering 'let's ride' and a heavy bass greasing up the reliable crank and rods of that authentic rock'n'roll machine, and there goes, ladies and gents, the mighty Lords Of Altamont combo!

Riding hard on backyard-built, loud pipes and rigid frame undestructible raw choppers, the band left their garage enlivened by the year of 1969, right at the crossroads of the Summer of Love and the birth of punk rock.

Crypt Trip ‎– Haze County - LP

Crypt Trip returns! Following their last album “Rootstock” the Texas rockers are delivering more Cosmic American sounds straight to your ears, mind, and soul. Their new album, “Haze County”, sonically and lyrically explores the complexities of space and time and then brings you back down to the very Earth you’re made of.

Death - Leprosy - LP

DEATH's immensely influential second album Leprosy originally released in 1988 was a pioneering album, building upon the thrash sounds of Metallica and Slayer but adding a previously unheard level of raw extremity. These songs are the roots of an entire genre: death metal. While this was only the second record DEATH release, it immediately cemented them as heavy metal icons.

Alunah ‎– Violet Hour - CD-Digi

On the back of last year's critically acclaimed "Amber & Gold" EP, Alunah return with "Violet Hour", the new album and first for Heavy Psych Sounds.
"Violet Hour" sees the energy of Alunah's dark, doom tinged hard rock being cranked up with the arrival of guitarist Dean Ashton (bass, Diamond Head) alongside the soaring vocals of Sian Greenaway and rhythmic foundation of Dan Burchmore and Jake Mason. Recorded at the historic Welsh Foel Studio and produced by Chris Fielding (Conan, Electric Wizard, Primordial) the 8 tracks on display show the fruits of a productive early 2019 with a searing combination of melodies, riffs and focused writing.

Void Rot ‎– Descending Pillars - CD

Cosmic Death/Doom from Minneapolis/MN (United States).

Uprising US Death Doom titans Void Rot will finally land their debut full length upon mankind after an EP and a split with Atavisma.
Ominous. Threatening. Crushing.

For fans of Incantation, Spectral Voice, Mortiferum and Krypts.

Swallow The Sun ‎– When A Shadow Is Forced Into The Light - CD

Formed in 2000, Finland’s Swallow the Sun have expressed and exposed much of their inner selves over the course of seven albums, the newest of which is the heart-wrenching “When A Shadow is Forced into the Light”.
The brainchild of primary songwriter Juha Raivio, Swallow the Sun’s music swings between light and dark, heavy and delicate, reflective and aggressive. Fueled by personal loss, “When A Shadow is Forced into the Light” showcases the group’s ability to maintain its signature sound while expanding upon horizons and diving deeper into the crevasse of doom-death metal.

Carpenter Brut - Trilogy - 3LP

At first glance, Carpenter Brut's influences are 80s TV shows, B movies loaded with synthesizer music. Listening to his home made EPs, however, one would rather bet on a black metal background, a crush for Dario Argento and a force-fed religious education.
This would explain his satanic mood, his passion for kitsch sounds and his adoration for all kinds of enjoyment. Whatever his influences, Carpenter Brut does not lack the talent to create in-your-face vintage killer tracks.
This is the long-awaited reissue of Carpenter Brut's self-released EP trilogy.
Presented in a slick Trifold Cover, pressed on 3LP with killer artwork designed by France's most notorious design-due Førtifem.
