Violet Cold is one-man studio project from Azerbaijan started by Emin Guliyev in 2013.

kOsmik draws influence from so many different genres, starting off with pure post-rock in the vein of Lights Out Asia and other US references, slowly guitars become sharper and sharper, blackgaze and post-black metal kick in, and kOsmik takes off and simply leaves this planet. The succession between genres is natural and smooth, and the final track, a rearrangement of Bach's Air from the orchestral suite no. 3 in D major BWV 1068, feels a weird yet perfect conclusion to the Azeri's journey. 

Avantgarde Music is pleased to release the physical edition of kOsmik, which was originally published digitally earlier this year.

It’s easy to imagine the mouthful title of riff-rocking Roman trio Black Rainbows third album, Supermothafuzzalicious!! (double-exclamation points included), emerged as a spontaneous outburst upon hearing the record in studio playback. It’s about as apt a title as I could come up with, and though the band seem to be perpetually following the riffs of guitarist/vocalist Gabriele Fiori, they have undertaken some creative growth since their 2008 debut. Long sought-after debut demo album by Norway’s Undisputed Kings of Slam, KRAANIUM. ‘No Respect for the Dead’ is the bands 2002 debut. The album featured 13 tracks of groove driven death metal. Before the bands evolution into the “Slam” genre, NRFTD was inspired by all things horror, while also being influenced by the likes of early Dying Fetus, Hemdale, Impetigo, and more.

Album art was once again made by Andreas Christanetoff of Armaada Art, who did a great job capturing the essence of the original demo art, as well as brought back to life the original Kraanium logo. This assured us capturing the glory of what NRFTD set out to be.

This new record expresses all their skepticism and unease towards a society where sarcasm and mediocrity became criterias of appreciation if not values to be defended at all cost. A society that constantly and repeatedly broadcasts its own decay, drowning masses in a sea of ignorance and ready-made reflections.
