Zippo have always been about the music, which is actually very hard to define as they include elements of Prog Rock, Psych, Stoner, Sludge, Doom, Noise and even Post-Metal. Zippo thrive on creating different sounds and challenging people to use their very heart and soul to fully experience the band’s musical vision.

A winning philosophy has seen Zippo release three critically acclaimed albums: “Ode To Maximum” (Self-produced, 2006), “The Road To Knowledge” (Subsound Records, 2009), “Maktub” (Subsound Records, 2011).

Album number four will be unleashed by Uk based Apocalyptic Witchcraft Recordings, scheduled for February 2016. The album will be entitled “After Us”, the very first album as a four piece band. A work that is heavy, thick and straightforward as never before. Mixed and Mastered at Sound of Sirens Studio (California, US) by Toshi Kasai, a man who is best known for his work with The Melvins, Tool, Shrinebuilder, and for having played with Porn (The Man Of), Altamont and Big Business.

Nocturnus AD ‎– Paradox - 2LP

Resurrected from the ashes of one of the most influential death metal bands of all time, Nocturnus, NOCTURNUS AD was initiated by Nocturnus founder/mastermind/death metal legend Mike Browning to continue the path that was laid down, 28 years later, by the legendary Florida death metal band’s seminal 1990 album “The Key”. A
Entitled “Paradox”, the debut NOCTURNUS AD full-length album is the direct and proper follow-up to “The Key”, musically and thematically.
On a musical plane, “Paradox’s” otherworldly, technical dark atmospheric occult death metal blueprint harnesses and carries on the energy of “The Key” and the overall cult death metal vibe of the early ‘90s .
“Paradox” is sci-fi death metal reclaiming its throne back to its originators.

Vitriol – Pain Will Define Their Death - CD

MCD comes with an exclusive brand new track recorded during past session.

One of the most pissed off and corrosive expressions of Death Metal you will ever hear! Finally on physical format the critically acclaimed debut EP by Portland-based band Vitriol, MCD comes with an exclusive brand new track recorded during past sessions!

“Violence is the element that will always be found in any Vitriol song. Trivializing the human experience and shining a light on its frailty and natural cowardice… I truly believe that what we want to communicate and represent with our band is a universal truth to everyone. We’re trying to tap into something that everyone has inside of them.” (Kyle Rasmussen)

For fans of Hate Eternal, Nile, Internecine and Myrkskog.

Monsternaut - Enter The Storm - CD-Digi

Monsternaut's "Enter the Storm" is a 12 track getaway in the Finish tundra. The bands second album follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, this time heavier then before. The album is filled with familiar Fu Manchu influences marinaded in trash and sludge groove. If you like simple groovy heavy stoner, you will like this. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered in a coastal town of southern Finland by Teemu Aalto.

Brant Bjork ‎– Tres Dias - LP

The album was recorded in Joshua Tree, California, USA, before Christmas 2006. The 8-track album is a mix of old and new tracks. “Some days I just like to sit outside under the sun with my guitar and sing my songs to myself. It relaxes me. It also reminds me of what my songs are about. ...went to Tony's house when I got back to the desert last October...put up a mic and rolled tape. It took 3 days to make this recording...so we naturally called it Tres Dias. Dig it.” Re-issued by Heavy Psych Sounds in 2018.

Solefald ‎– Neonism - CD

Neonism was originally released in 1999 and ventured even further into the realms of genre expanding diversity than the debut album, 1997's The Linear Scaffold in what could be classified as an early example of 'post black metal'.

Prog metal, black metal, punk, classical, jazz, as well as multiple modern styles & influences such as drum & bass & electronica all combine to make an incredibly varied and fascinating album both instrumentally & vocally, whereas lyrically the album deals with cultural & social themes, instead of more typical black metal topics.

This wholly unconventional approach to songwriting stands Solefald as being a completely unique band.

Abscess - Dawn Of Inhumanity - CD-Digi

The legendary Abscess hail from Oakland California and started life in 1994 with their very own brand of Sickodelia.
Chris Reifert and Danny Coralles were both previously in late 80s/early 90s top gore metal band Autopsy, and Chris started his career with the highly influential extreme metal band Death.
Including special guest vocal appearances by the Darkthrone duo, this is twisted, dirty punk death without limits!
Cover artwork comes from top US artist Dennis Dread (Darkthrone, Autopsy), with booklet art courtesy of Chris Reifert himself. 'Dawn of Inhumanity' also marks the final release of Darkthrone's Tyrant Syndicate Productions, a sub-label of Peaceville Records.

High Reeper ‎– Higher Reeper - CD-Digi

High Reeper is back with their second release Higher Reeper and they aren’t fucking around. The sound and smell of leather, weed and death now has a hint of Campari and cocaine to color all eight tracks. With the addition of their new drummer Justin Di Pinto, High Reeper has managed to focus their sound and expand it at the same time. The record is darker and heavier than their first offering with guitars that crush you like a tank and lyrics that paint a picture of the world nearing its end.

RELEASE DATE: March 22, 2019

Jesus Cröst ‎– 1986 - LP

Stop & Go Grindcore, a mix between Yacopsae & Cephalotripsy, 1986, holds twenty-two songs, barely varied from twenty seconds to one minute and twenty seconds. One minute ditties of grind crust packed in crispy production are Jesus Cröst’s hallmark. While most power violence bands focus on short bursts of aggression to the detriment of everything else, Jesus Cröst at times also manage to put some melody into the mix. Sure, it's just brief snippets of melody, but it's enough to make the band stand out in the power violence crowd.

Misery Index - Rituals Of Power - CD

MISERY INDEX return furiously with their brand new album, 'Rituals of Power'! With their sixth full-length, the American icons of hard hitting brutality display the strength of maturity grown out of the experience gained as a relentless touring machine. The general trend of their continuous evolution to incorporate less core elements and move towards classic death metal finds a new high water mark.

Atomic Trip ‎– Strike 1 - LP Green

“Take a breath. Drink a beer. Smoke weed. Relax. Drink another beer. Push the volume up. Press play. Explode. Get fuzzed.

These are the words that ATOMIC TRIP live by and for good reason – this band fucking rules!

These DOOM warlords have created the Instrumental Doom album of the year entitled Strike #1. Over the course of 40 minutes, this band proves that they can’t be fucked with when it comes to creating riffs that kill on contact.

What I love about this record is how they are able to manifest such dynamic songs without using vocals. ATOMIC TRIP’s tunes are the perfect soundscape for your mind to run wild in a HEAVY NEVER-NEVER-LAND! CVLT Nation must salute these Doom Warlords for creating the best Instrumental Doom album of 2017"
