In 2015, Portland, Oregon’s Holy Grove walks in the long footsteps of tradition, pitting soulful vocals, searing guitar solos, and swinging grooves into its own Bic-flicking dinosaur stomp.

Mark Greening (former Electric Wizard, also of Ramesses, With The Dead) and vocalist Virginia Monti (Psychedelic Witchcraft) joined forces to found the heaviest occult psych superbeast to see the light this year, taking the shape DEAD WITCHES. The third album "Terrene" from international death/funeral doom act Mesmur is a colossal and moving sonic rendering of a dying world.
Where their 2017 album "S" operated on a cosmic scale, Terrene explores similar themes of entropy and impending chaos in a more terrestrial context, and is rife with the suffocating dirges and toxic atmosphere the band is known for.

Featuring guest flute and cello performances by Don Zaros of Evoken and the Russian Nadia Avanesova, and another stunning cover design by Ukranian painter Cadaversky, Terrene reaches new levels of scope and ambition for Mesmur in their objective to create a vast and immersive doom metal experience.

Long sought-after debut demo album by Norway’s Undisputed Kings of Slam, KRAANIUM. ‘No Respect for the Dead’ is the bands 2002 debut. The album featured 13 tracks of groove driven death metal. Before the bands evolution into the “Slam” genre, NRFTD was inspired by all things horror, while also being influenced by the likes of early Dying Fetus, Hemdale, Impetigo, and more.

Album art was once again made by Andreas Christanetoff of Armaada Art, who did a great job capturing the essence of the original demo art, as well as brought back to life the original Kraanium logo. This assured us capturing the glory of what NRFTD set out to be.

A longtime dream has been to capture the YAWNING MAN performing in the very environment that so inspired their music.

This cinematic concert experience is intimately and beautifully captured by videographer Sam Grant in the environment that inspires Yawning Man’s spacious, expansive and cinematic music.

In the spirit of Pink Floyd’s “Live at Pompeii” the performance is shot on location with no audience, just the band performing their instrumental meditations in the rugged beauty of the Mojave Desert.

Giant Rock in Landers California has attracted Native American Nomads, Scientists, UFO Researchers, and travelers from all over the world, drawn by its magnetic spiritual energy.
