ROTTING CHRIST have stood the test of time. 'Rituals' is an album that has obviously been written by veterans.
The Greek legends inject a 27-year career, 12 albums, and more than 1.200 shows into their songwriting. With confidence and skills derived from experience, each song represents its own sonic universe. Goosebumps moments such as these are liberally sprinkled throughout the record, which manages the feat to sound rock solid and made out of one heavy piece as well as diverse and far ranging at the same time.
The experienced is enhanced by Jens Bogren's equally clear and transparent yet also massive as well as sombre mix and mastering at his widely renowned Fascination Street Studios (AMORPHIS, BORKNAGAR, MOONSPELL, DEVIN TOWNSEND, and many more).

It's been only two years since SHED THE SKIN's critically acclaimed debut album for HELLS HEADBANGERS, Harrowing Faith, but the Cleveland quartet have not been sitting idly by. Shows have been played, new songs have been written, and the well-oiled machine that is SHED THE SKIN has but only become more powerful. Of course, that "well-oiled machine" still includes a number of considerable scene veterans: Kyle Severn of INCANTATION on drums, Matt Sorg of Ringworm/Blood of Christ on guitars, Ash Thomas of VLADIMIRS and FAITHXTRACTOR on vocals, and Ed Stephens from Vindicator on bass. With all that combined experience, it's no surprise that Harrowing Faith sounded as massive as it does - but the follow-up is even more massive.

With their anticipated new album “For This We Fought The Battle Of Ages”, Salt Lake City doom-chamber metal band SUBROSA have created their most triumphant and most enveloping album to date. “For This We Fought The Battle Of Ages” sees SUBROSA expanding their sound to a new plateau with their heaviest, darkest, and most dynamic-sounding album to date through bigger-sounding production value (the new album was fully engineered and mixed by drummer Andy Patterson). With the awareness brought onto the band with the new album’s predecessor, which also saw SUBROSA on their most active touring schedule yet, “For This We Fought The Battle Of Ages” will bring more demand and awareness to the band as they prepare to unveil their most important and crucial album in their repertoire.

'Total Death' was the sixth album from Norwegian black metal legends Darkthrone, and was originally released in 1996.
The song-writing on 'Total Death' was split equally between the 2 members, Fenriz and Nocturno Culto, with Nocturno supplying lyrics to his own songs, whilst Fenriz gave the honour to notable members of the Norwegian metal scene: Garm from Ulver, Ihsahn from Emperor, Carl-Michael Eide from Aura Noir/Ved Buens Ende and Satyr from Satyricon. The album delivers a classic dose of mid and up-tempo black metal, along with thrash, such as on the track 'Blasphemer'.

Debut Album from Radien, Blackened Sludge from Finland

Radien began its descent early 2014. The band draws creativity from the depths of the world and the mind, balancing between crushing heaviness and ethereal atmospheres. This Helsinki-based band from Finland vows in the name of serious amplifier worship and offer their blackened sludge with intensity and integrity.

Here we have the sixth full 12"LP album in the series of 8 albums with complete sessions which were made for various releases, recorded and released between 1990 and 2003. This one here contains 10 songs which were NOT recorded at the SOUNDSHAPE-studios in Arendonk, Belgium, like the ANNO 1993 12"LP, ANNO 1994 12"LP, ANNO 1996 12"LP and ANNO 1997 12"LP were.

The songs of this session were used for the AGATHOCLES/SUPPOSITORY (Holland) split CD, AGATHOCLES "Hunt Hunters" double 7"EP and AGATHOCLES "Hunt Hunters" 7"EP. The song "About a fascist" was especially recorded for a compilation 12"LP.

The covers of all 8 records of this series make up the complete triptych "The Garden of Earthly Delights" by Hieronymus Bosch.

Formed during the dark days of 1998 in Lahti, Finland, EVIL ANGEL finally burst upon the international metal underground in 2002 with the Dark Forces of Hell demo. For the next number of years, the band would continue to perfect its outbreak-of-evil style of blackthrashing metal across more demos, splits, and the aptly titled Metal Onslaught EP. That last-named record was crucial in pointing the direction forward for EVIL ANGEL: each new recording brought them down into deeper depths of primitivism whilst underlining their connection to the unyielding strength of true METAL.
