By now, CULTES DES GHOULES should need no introduction. For the past decade and a half, this mysterious Polish entity has patiently crafted one of the most singular sounds in the black metal underground.

Simply, there's no other band around that sounds like CULTES DES GHOULES.

Like the blackest of magick, willed into being through both inmutable will and unselfconscious abandon, Sinister opens up - WIDELY - and again stretches sulfur and brimstone to their breaking point, with four of the five tracks topping ten minutes (or more) in length. Within, largely tribal/ritualistic drumming guides this Sinister spelunk into supernatural horrors yet witnessed.
It's not "weird" black metal because it tries to be - it just IS, like always.

“Sinfonías del Terror Ciego” is a master-crafted putrid Grinding Death Metal ode to Machetazo’s fellow countryman De Ossorio’s 70’s Euro-Horror cult film trilogy about the Blind Dead Templars.

Machetazo and Throne decided to arrange a very limited repress of just 100 copies on colored vinyl and 200 copies on black vinyl, worldwide.
This new pressing contains revamped artwork, including all new liner notes from Dave Wagner (Evoken), Pierre De Palmas (Braindead Mag.) and Doc Holocausto (Evilspeak Mag.).

'Goatlord' is the title of what was to originally be Darkthrone's second album.
The style followed very much in the vein of the debut, 'Soulside Journey', with a mid-paced melodic, yet technical death metal style.
After the recording of the tracks in their completed demo form in 1991, however, Darkthrone's focus shifted towards black metal and so the album was shelved, while work commenced on what was to be the Norwegian black metal milestone, 'A Blaze in the Northern Sky', which did actually incorporate some parts from the 'Goatlord' tracks. 'Goatlord' was only ever recorded instrumentally, and so it wasn't until 1994 that Fenriz added vocals to the songs, with the album eventually seeing a release on the band's then label, Moonfog Productions in 1996.
