Misery Index - The Killing Gods - CD

MISERY INDEX return with a fury worthy of the title of their new album, "The Killing Gods". With their fifth full-length, the American icons of hard hitting brutality display the strength of maturity grown out of the experience gained as a relentless touring machine. The general trend of their continuous evolution to incorporate less core elements and move towards classic death metal finds a new high water mark with “The Killing Gods”. Now brace, hold tight and duck for cover, for the wrath of the gods is upon us!

Sons Of Alpha Centauri - Continuum - LP + CD

Black Vinyl
Includes CD and download code

Uk's Sons of Alpha Centauri return for their second full-length album – an epic introspective journey of abrasive and ambient progressive electronic alt rock entitled Continuum.
Continuum is wrought with dark anthems and intense textures, introspective interludes with tidal waves of distortion. It is awash with soaring melodies and a deep underpinning of the darker side of light.

Darkthrone ‎– Soulside Journey - CD

Darkthrone hail from Norway and for the past decade have been at the forefront of the infamous Black Metal movement - quite an achievement for a band who have only ever played a handful of live shows.
In 1986 they rose up from the darkness, brought to life by Gylve Nagell (drummer), Ted Skjellum (guitars/vocals), Ivar Enger (guitars) and Dag Nilsen (bass).
Under this line up the band released 3 demos, Land Of Frost, Thulcandra and Cromlech before signing to Peaceville Records in a 4-album deal.
Darkthrone's debut album 'Soulside Journey' (1991) was recorded at the much acclaimed Sunlight Studios in Sweden, and shows a major band at the beginning of a justly celebrated career of evil.

Ryte ‎– Ryte - LP

Ryte’s debut album is basically the result of an intense one-and-a-half-year writing process (late 2016 - early 2018), which was definitely fueled by a very creative and communal spirit within the band.
The album consists of four long tracks which were constructed and developed carefully over time. The flow came totally natural as every member participated equally and contributed their very own personal abilities.
The album definitely pushes the boundaries of Psych rock as it is influenced by countless styles of music including Doom, Prog Rock, Jazz and even World Music.
The sound is dominated by down-tuned, sometimes doomy, sometimes epic twin guitars, dynamic and jazzy drums, distorted, playful basslines and spacey Theremin landscapes.

Clear Water Green LP limited to 350 copies

Usurpress - Trenches Of The Netherworld - LP

After the MCD on Selfmadegod Records, and the split EPs with Pyramido (Plague Island) and Bombs of Hades (Doomentia) here's the first full-length for Usurpress, a new kick-ass band from Uppsala (SWE) featuring "old" starring of the punk/metal scene: Stefan “Steffe” Pettersson (DISKONTO, UNCURBED) and Daniel Ekeroth - bass player from TYRANT, DELLAMORTE and also author of the book “Swedish Death Metal”.

11 crushing songs of Swedish death metal mixed with some d-beat/crust punk influences.

Uncreation - Overwhelming Chaos CD

Unrelenting Ancient Death Metal. Chaotic guitar riffing, a frantic drums work, morbid obscure vocals and diseased
bestiality without compromise! No fucking mercy!!!

In the vein of early pioneers of traditional Death Metal, like early MORBID ANGEL, early DEICIDE, early GOREFEST, DEMIGOD,
CONVULSE, AUTOPSY, early GRAVE, GORGUTS... thinking also to KAAMOS and SLUGATHOR...!!!

Nebula - Demos & Outtakes 98-02 - LP

Set for a release on January 25th 2019 via Heavy Psych Sounds, the 'Demos & Outtakes 98-02' will include 5 tracks that have never seen the light of day before (!!), alongside rare demos as well as cover songs such as the unique live version of Black Flag's 'Nervous Breakdown'! Beside these never published demos to date, the known tracks on this album are different to what NEBULA originally released on their previous records such as on 'Charged' or 'To The Center'. Some tracks were written and recorded in these sessions, some never made it on any of these or were used for B-sides and singles, and then we get songs such as 'Whalefinger' which has been the first song Eddie Glass ever wrote and which originally made it on a 7” B-side by Olivelawn, where Eddie has been playing drums for.

Incoming Cerebral Overdrive ‎– Controverso - CD-Digi

I.C.O. is a powerful overcharging state, originating from the mastodontic approach to the riff rooted in a hardcore attitude and developing in something different and multiform.

The furious dynamics, the tearing vocals, the seventies italian prog reminiscences and the psychedelic aesthetic show the will to experiment on continuosly mutating song structures.

Ecstatic Vision ‎– For The Masses - CD-Digi

Philadelphia Heavy Psych quartet Ecstatic Vision (regarded as the second coming of vintage Hawkwind) returns with their new album “For the Masses!” After bursting onto the scene with their 2015 tribal-psychedelic LP, Sonic Praise, touring the USA with Yob and Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, crushing Roadburn, Ecstatic Vision have pulled themselves out of the muck to deliver their finest album to date.
This album is the closest the band has gotten to achieving the energy of their untouchable live shows on tape.
"For the Masses" blends Tripped-out Synth, Semi-Catatonic Desert driving tunes, Afro-tribal Funkadelic Vibes, Troglodyte-Detroit Rock grooves, Acid Freak-Outs, Ethereal Psychedelic Hymns, and Mind-Altering Kraut Rock into Ecstatic Vision's outsider take on modern music.

Doctor Cyclops ‎– Local Dogs - LP

Local Dogs is an explosive mixture of seventies heavy rock, New Wave of British Heavy Metal and obscure doomy sabbath-style stuff ready to take you back to the spirit of a different era. Groovy riffs and gloomy paths coming straight from the woods give you the impression that the epic saga of the Seventies ended up in something different than a fleeting reflection of the past. If you like the early Deep Purple groove, try to imagine it mixed with the bluesy Graveyard mood played by Cathedral jamming on Budgie's tunes in Witchfinder General's practice room: then you should be close to realize the spirit and the power of this record. In this contest the featuring of BILL STEER (Carcass, Firebird, Gentlemans Pistols) on lead guitar just tastes like the cherry on top of a tempting cake.
