The Spirit - Sounds from the vortex - LP Clear

€19.99
Tax included

In the long Scandinavian winter nights of the 1990s, the harshness of (melodic) death was combined with the icy attitude of black metal and created a suffocating darkness that has lasted until today. The soul of this musical fusion lives on in the passionate songwriting of THE SPIRIT, and with its determination and utter elegance »Sounds From The Vortex« evokes an atmosphere hailing right from the Scandinavian tombs.

The artistic handwriting behind the atmospheric cover is unmistakable though, as it comes from the Romanian metal artwork guru Costin Chioreanu.

Cripple Bastards - La Fine Cresce Da Dentro - LP

Italian grindcore legends CRIPPLE BASTARDS celebrate 30 years of misanthropic extremity with their seventh full-length album La Fine Cresce Da Dentro (Meaning “The End Is Growing From Within”). Over three decades in, CRIPPLE BASTARDS are showing no signs of slowing down and continue to destroy unsuspecting eardrums with hate-filled, grind punk chaos!

Zaum - Eidolon - LP Orange

Based in New Brunswick, Canada - ZAUM is a dark passage into the unspoken realization of the old world; a monolithic doomy mantra-based meditative experience forged by bass and drums interwoven with sitar, woodwind, string and synth textures resulting in a tranquil resonance whereby the astral and physical planes can co-exist and be understood from a natural perspective. Chapter II in the existence of ZAUM - "Eidolon", is an illuminated revelation of the ancient past with furthered lush and organic soundscapes as its vibrant artwork depicts. While concurrent with respect to the time period, Eidolon summons the mind into a lost world afar from the Middle Eastern deserts of debut album "Oracles".

Wiegedood - De Doden Hebben het Goed I - CD-Digi

De Doden Hebben het Goed is Wiegedood’s debut album, but we can hardly call this a debuting band. The band members have already proven their worth in other acts like Amenra, Oathbreaker, Hessian, Rise and Fall… This is surely an interesting gathering of musicians that immediately raises high expectations. And they deliver. Big time. Against all expectations, the result of this collaboration has nothing to do with post metal, sludge or hardcore. In stead, Wiegedood treats us to a relentless onslaught of atmospheric black metal. The title De Doden Hebben het Goed covers the album perfectly: it’s a very bleak take on extreme metal music, but never loses touch with the band members’ other projects.
