The music present on this disc is probably best described as a collision of shoegazing pop and Swedish counterculture psychedelia.
Imagine Träd, Gräs & Stenar or GOAT trying to sound like My Bloody Valentine at their peak. Think now of endless summer nights, infinite access to weed and a 24-7 flying carpet service and you get a glimpse of what is going on here.

Melody Fields spring out of Gothenburg and are thus the latest wonder from Sweden’s west coast music revolution. The music has been recorded at Studio Parkeringshuset where Hills, GOAT and The Movements have made their albums. Among the guest musicians are Holy Wave’s (US) Dustin Zozaya on mellotron and Nils Börén on saxophone.

The Italian psych-fuzz trio Black Rainbows sound like the bastard offspring of 70's hard-rock swagger and 90's stoner-groove; hints of Black Sabbath, MC5 and Hawkwind fuse with liberal pinches of Monster Magnet and Fu Manchu. Since 2007 the band have released three full-length albums, coupled with split releases with bands such as White Hills, Naam and Farflung, and finally the recently highly acclaimed Holy Moon Ep. They have also been regulars on stages across the world having now performed over 300 gigs.

"Illvd Divinvm Insanvs" is the eighth studio album by American death metal band Morbid Angel, released by Season Of Mist in 2011.

The album is controversial for its eccentric influences and sound that differs heavily from Morbid Angel's traditional musical style, fan backlash to the record was harsh but most critics were generally mixed.

The 3rd album of the Germany Psychedelic/ Prog Rock band Mother Engine is a real unique piece of music, which, on one hand side, used to be a concept album to show the evolution of the “Mother Engine” in their fictive story of the same named spaceship and its crew as well as the evolution of the musicians themselve in songwriting and diy recording and production processes to really get inside of the implementation of their imagination. Stoned Jesus emerged as Igor's Krobak side-project, dealing with the heavier and darker side of rock-music. Beginning with sludge and post-metal blueprints, it shaped into a full-time band, becoming musically closer to stoner rock and traditional doom metal in vein of early Black Sabbath, later days Electric Wizard and classic Sleep. SJ's second demo, “Occult/Black Woods”, contains two fuzzy sabbathian epics filled with catchy riffs, Hendrix-like guitar solos and professional vocals. After releasing their début "First Communion" record and playing dozens of gigs in Ukraine and Russia, the band went through line-up change and released a new EP entitled "Stormy Monday" on April 7th 2011.
