Nightstalker ‎– Great Hallucinations - LP

The legendary stoner rockers are back! One of the first bands of the genre present their 8th album after their first EP (SideFX) back in 1994 (the grunge rock era).
This time the album hits directly to the soul. 8 new tracks which are different to each other, combining groovy parts with heaviness and melodies.
The guitars are still heavy but spacey and psychedelic at the same time. The bass is always groovy with intense playing.
All together with a lot of catchy melodies and the power of Argy’s vocals are the secret of the music of Nightstalker.
Raw rock 'n roll simplicity, stunning riffs and electric haze are what have kept the band going for more than 20 years.

Darkthrone ‎– Total Death - CD

'Total Death' was the sixth album from Norwegian black metal legends Darkthrone, and was originally released in 1996.
The song-writing on 'Total Death' was split equally between the 2 members, Fenriz and Nocturno Culto, with Nocturno supplying lyrics to his own songs, whilst Fenriz gave the honour to notable members of the Norwegian metal scene: Garm from Ulver, Ihsahn from Emperor, Carl-Michael Eide from Aura Noir/Ved Buens Ende and Satyr from Satyricon. The album delivers a classic dose of mid and up-tempo black metal, along with thrash, such as on the track 'Blasphemer'.

The Arson Project ‎– Disgust - CD

The Arson Project playing crushing political hardcore/grind in the similar vein of bands like Cursed, Dead in the Dirt, His Hero is Gone and Masakari.
Insanely pissed off vocals, ultra-heavy downtuned guitars and energetic drums that relentlessly will pound your body to shit, in songs that sometimes may vary from raging dbeat and blasting speeds, to moments of total sludge-doom-apocalypse.
Nine years after their debut MCD "Blood and Locust" also on POWER IT UP, their long-awaited full length DISGUST' which will be released on 6th of April, is recorded together with William Blackmon (Victims, Gadget) and mastered by Brad Boatright (From Ashes Rise, Nails, Weekend Nachos, Magrudergrind etc) in the legendary Audiosiege studio in Portland, USA.

Scalpture ‎– Eisenzeit - CD

Emerging from the wider surrounding of death dealers Evoked in the industrial juggernaut of North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany, Scalpture turn out to be a surprisingly individual take on true-and-tested genre formulas.
While the members were doubtlessly raised on a diet of Bolt Thrower with two big spoons of Dutch and American fare respectively, it’s clear from the outset that Scalpture’s second full-length is its very own beast.
As a musical narrative unfolding during the ravages of World War I, “Eisenzeit” does not once plumply glorify armed conflict and heroic violence but displays a peculiar depth.
Add to this highly emotional mix a monstrously powerful yet crystalline sound devoid of any shallow “vintage” references, and you can be sure that Scalpture are going to actively shape the future

Buzzov•en ‎– To A Frown - LP

Raw as a heroin abscess, Buzzov-en’s debut, To a Frown, ushered in a devastatingly ugly admixture of bastardized Southern rock riffs, heavy metal, noise rock, and the broken bottle aggression of early Black Flag. It packs a violent wallop, with Kirk’s contorted, half-growled, half-screamed vocals threatening menacingly over the sturm and drang of the rhythm section. Though Buzzov-en owes part of its aesthetic — both in appearance and sound — to Southern scum rock outfit Antiseen, they upped the ante in energy, presence, recklessness, and songwriting. Half of the album resides in sludgy blues riffs dragged through the sewer of Kirk’s drug- and violence-oriented lyrics, and the other half is pure Damaged-influenced, early-American hardcore aggression.

Nebula - Dos E.P.'s - LP

Nebula is one of those bands that would have fit perfectly on a concert bill with Black Sabbath, Hawkwind, or the Stooges circa 1973. The power trio of Eddie Glass (vocals, guitars), Ruben Romano (drums), and Mark Abshire (bass) has quietly fused a somewhat modernized but highly distinctive '70s hard rock sound all its own. Releasing Dos Eps is a smart move, combining the very limited Sun Creature EP and the Meteor City split with three additional songs that groove on raunchy guitar hooks, opaque slacker vocals, and bleed-heavy drumming.

Ecstatic Vision ‎– Sonic Praise - LP

Sonic Praise is the album that put Philadelphia’s Ecstatic Vision on the map.
Originally released by Relapse in 2015, this album was critically acclaimed and led to worldwide touring with the likes of Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats, Yob, and headlining shows across Europe, culminating in a breakout performance at Roadburn 2016.
The album itself introduced something different to the Heavy Psych scene, incorporating tribal rhythms from around the world, with bone-crushing heavy rock a-la-Hawkwind circa 1972, and cosmic psychedelic sounds.
After years of being sold out, we are excited to announce a long awaited re-issue this fall on Heavy Psych Sounds!

Nudist ‎– Bury My Innocence - LP

Black Vinyl Edition.

Nudist is Sound and instinct, at the base of a need: to get naked in front of all genres, attitudes or styles.
The result? Abrupt rhythmic changes and a powerful harsh voice lead the listener out from evocative ambient-psychedelic moments into very rough and groovy sounds

The Lords Of Altamont ‎– The Wild Sounds Of The Lords Of Altamont - CD-Digi

A hammered 4-stroke beat like a twin cylinder engine running on idle, a roaring guitar riff revving up the rpms of the iron-built motorcycle-inspired band, then the fresh and insisting breeze of a Farfisa organ whispering 'let's ride' and a heavy bass greasing up the reliable crank and rods of that authentic rock'n'roll machine, and there goes, ladies and gents, the mighty Lords Of Altamont combo!

Riding hard on backyard-built, loud pipes and rigid frame undestructible raw choppers, the band left their garage enlivened by the year of 1969, right at the crossroads of the Summer of Love and the birth of punk rock.
