Marnero is a flood coming out of the Bolognaise underground, a four piece combo born out of the ashes of the edgy, non conventional post hardcore outfity Laghetto. Their sound is rooted deep down in the 90’s, varying from heavy, Neurosis- style post core to noise rock, all mixed with an uncompromising d.i.y. punk attitude and a visionary lyrical approach that makes them unique.

OREYEON'S new album ODE TO OBLIVION comes after two years of experimental sessions in their little studio recording nastled between the sea and the mountains in the north west of italy. This new full lenght crosses transversely all member's musical influences and takes shape leaving behind and definitely going beyond the rules that mostly describe the classical stonerrock genre. Just from the first track, a strong sense of nothingness blends into a long unsettling travel through a microcosm full of colours while black shapes lead the traveller into a spiral of nihilistic lyrics, title tracks and monolithic riffs all at the same time .
YATTAÏ plays hardboiled grindcore: fast and furious stuff with lot of influences taken from crust and death metal, to postcore and doom.
Monsternaut's "Enter the Storm" is a 12 track getaway in the Finish tundra. The bands second album follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, this time heavier then before. The album is filled with familiar Fu Manchu influences marinaded in trash and sludge groove. If you like simple groovy heavy stoner, you will like this. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered in a coastal town of southern Finland by Teemu Aalto.
Comes in a gatefold cover with lyrics and a 12x24" folded insert with liner notes from Matt Harvey and an enormous photo collage from the Slaughtecult era!
All copies comes with a bonus rehearsal LP in the shape of a saw blade!
First time on regular vinyl (previously only available as subpar picture disc)! Exhumed deliver blazing, blood-soaked brutality forged in fire and formed in flame. Slaughtercult inflicts a bludgeoning battery of flesh-shredding, casket-crushing metal mania!!
Half/half" orange/yellow with heavy oxblood red splatter. 2LP
Probably the ultimate Black Metal record.
'Epicus Doomicus Metallicus' is a true classic.
Every track is undeniably strong - heavy metal riffs blended with almost neo-classical touches, plus some theatrical elements bringing to mind bands like Mercyful Fate (thought to be another influence).
This is one of the definitive Doom Metal releases, immortalising the band, alongside early developers of the style such as the US band, Pentagram.
'Epicus' was recorded at Thunderload Studios in 1986 and was released later that same year.
The vocals for this, their debut album, were handled by Johan Längqvist, before the iconic vocalist Messiah Marcolin became a solid fixture in the band until the early nineties.
Transparent Orange vinyl issued in a gatefold jacket with printed insert.
After their early foray into the world consciousness with SOULSIDE JOURNEY they delivered the unholy trinity of A BLAZE IN THE NORTHERN SKY, UNDER A FUNERAL MOON and TRANSILVANIAN HUNGER.
Censorship and heavy handed political correctness forced the band from Peaceville and they made a succession of albums for the fledgling Moonfog label.
Something was always missing from this equation though, and soon the band members yearned to go home and made it clear.
However, time heals all wounds, and as soon as the band became free they planned their return to the forefront of the Metal existence with Peaceville.
THE CULT IS ALIVE is the fetid, rotting, rocking first fruits of Darkthrone's second coming at Peaceville.
Brutal Punk from Grosseto, Italy.
Dark Thrones & Black Flags is equal parts Fenriz and Nocturno Culto.
The duo share song-writing and vocal duties throughout the release (with some surprising results) and further perfect the art of the riff. A deceptive mastery of composition is also evident on possibly their strongest release of recent times, an album of stripped down, dirty metal.
Recorded and produced by the band themselves at Necrohell II studios, Norway, Dark Thrones & Black Flags is an exercise in pushing the conventions of the narrow perception of what should make black metal, becoming more timeless and faithful to its spirit than most could ever wish for in the process.
Black Vinyl. Limited to 263 copies.
Thanatos is like a deep breath of fresh air for Implore's sound. It keeps the essence of the brutality in Depopulation adding some new details that bring the songs to a new level. The five tracks in this new EP are full of anger and hate, experimenting with new structures, riffs, and vocal lines, keeping the straight-to-the-point philosophy that makes this new 7" a short and intense one.
19 songs of uncompromising swedish blasting from the same town that brought us Gadget.
The yellow/black splattered LP will be sleeved in a massive Gatefold cover!
Gothic, from 1991, was the genre-defining second album by Gothic Doom Metal progenitors, Paradise Lost.
Creating a more melancholy and sonically detailed form of Doom Metal, Paradise Lost offered distinctive lead guitar melodies and atmospheric arrangements that - along with fellow travellers Anathema and My Dying Bride - placed them at the forefront of the 1990s extreme Metal scene.
This edition of Gothic is available on 180gm black vinyl.
