Wedge - Killing Tongue - CD-Digi

Following the buzz of WEDGE's debut, the group now unveils their eagerly awaited follow-up "Killing Tongue" ...and it truly kills! Although also deeply rooted in the rock'n'roll of the late 60s & early 70s, this album clearly is a strong progression from its precursor, presenting a multicolored spectrum of sounds and more diverse songwriting. Power trio-untypical arrangements and instruments like electric sitar, clavinet and harpsichord among others are accompanying especially some of the new psychedelia soaked tunes. But of course you can expect plenty of good old fuzz guitar and Hammond organ driven material as well.

Franco Bixio ‎– A Pugni Nudi (Original SoundTrack) - LP

"A pugni nudi" (With bare fists) - presented with a more than explicit subtitle "For a sad experience in a juvenile detention center" - is a 1974 film directed by Marcello Zeani; it can be associated to the Italian police genre, but it stands on its own due to its being set in the world of boxing.
It's a drama movie too, with a non-optimistic nor hopeful ending at all, accompanied by the music of Franco Bixio, with a distinctive jazz-rock imprint, a strong presence of symphonic arrangements and a singular more 'disengaged' episode ("Split second", on the B side of the LP).

A small gem, equally able to describe dramatic and tensive moments, now rediscovered and reissued for the first time on vinyl by AMS Records!

Secret Shame ‎– Dark Synthetics - CD

Secret Shame play an old-school gothic rock wisely mixing reverbs, space guitars, martial rhythms and dream-pop ethereal melodies.
Lena has a beautiful and evocative voice that will lead you back to the time, when Siouxsie was the undisputed queen of the scene.
"Too dark and theatrical for punk, but too punk for some of the goth kids", Secret Shame have released one of the more interesting debuts of the last years.

For every kind of rock-lovers, but especially for post-punk, dark rock, death rock, gothic fanatics.

Wedge - Like No Tomorrow - LP

The Berlin-based power trio once more is driving their musical WEDGE in between many different genres: Garage rock turns progressive while psychedelic guitar lines are tripping over hard rocking riffs. Does this work together? Hell yes! For fans of Deep Purple, MC5, Led Zeppelin or Humble Pie this album is a sure shot. You like fuzz guitars? Hammond organ and vocals trough a swirling Leslie cabinet? More cowbell? You got it. But unlike our beloved rock records from around 1971, which we've heard a hundred times before "Like No Tomorrow" has one huge advantage: It's brand new and the 8 tracks, ranging from 3:00 to 9:00 minutes, deliver a fresh, unspent and unmistakably unique taste to the rock'n'roll menu.

Denial Of God – The Horrors Of Satan - CD

DENIAL OF GOD should need little introduction. Since that fateful year of 1991, the brothers Azter and Ustumallagam have perfected an idiosyncratic style of black metal that's positively drenched in the supernatural and remains firm in their conviction of more classicist-styled songwriting. In fact, "black metal" might even be a misnomer; rather, BLACK HORROR METAL would be more accurate.

The Horrors of Satan retains a very medieval feel with its lyrics about witches, werewolves, vampires and the infamous iron gibbet, which was a body-shaped iron cage used to display the bodies of dead or dying criminals. The album also became the beginning of a new and stronger chapter for DENIAL OF GOD, with many of the songs still appearing in the band's live sets today

Alcest ‎– Kodama - LP

180g Black Vinyl

"Kodama" the fifth album from Blackgaze pioneers, Alcest, marks the French duo's ferocious return to the stylistic maximalism of its early albums while continuing the band's relentless pursuit for new sounds and fresh ideas.
"Kodama" is the Japanese word for 'tree spirit' and 'echo' and from the album's structure and dynamics to its cinematic sound, "Kodama" indeed 'echoes' Alcest's 2010 classic, "Écailles De Lune".
But this is no simple back-to-the-roots album: the band has more punch, rhythm and organic feel than ever before.
While clearly influenced by bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, Dinosaur Jr, Grimes and The Cure, "Kodama" ultimately reveals itself as Alcest's 'Japanese album', drawing substantial inspiration from Japanese art and culture.

Catheter ‎– Southwest Doom Violence - CD

After years of angst-ridden anticipation from a ravenous fanbase, Denver's grindcore gargantuans CATHETER unleash their first full-length album since 2005.

The follow-up to Dimension 303", amidst an incredible arsenal of split releases, EPs and demos over the years, CATHETER's new opus is so obliteratingly heavy that upon first listen you'll quickly forgive them for the delay since the last album, and immediately tear your own head off in utter joy.

As always appropriately entitled, "Southwest Doom Violence" surges with CATHETER's pissed-off style, an immediate adrenaline-booster for fans of classic, ripping grindcore in the tradition of REPULSION, TERRORIZER, PHOBIA, early NAPALM DEATH, with crust and doom metal infiltrating the mix.

Golem ‎– Eternity - The Weeping Horizons / The 2nd Moon - 2CD

GOLEM. This legendary and absolutely underrated band started back in 1989. In the 1990s they have released two of the best Death Metal albums ever,
FDA Rekotz is re-releasing both "Eternity - The Weeping Horizons" (1996) and "The 2nd Moon" (1998) as Double LP, Double CD and for Download.
Both albums were remastered by Andreas Hilbert (head of the band) and to top it of Mark Cooper has created new killer artwork.
GOLEM are influenced by bands like CARCASS, DEATH or MORBID ANGEL and are surely on the same musical level. They never got the luck to be pushed by one of the big record labels at the time (early/mid 90s). They are still more or less active and the time has come to rise above and beyond, to show their great compositions to a wider audience.
