Darkthrone ‎– Too Old Too Cold - LP

€17.99

The Too Old Too Cold EP had its original release at the dawn of 2006 and acted as a precursor to the band's triumphant Peaceville comeback album, the revelatory black and roll release, The Cult is Alive.
As a showcase for this sleek new incarnation of Darkthrone, and with the band firmly back in control of their sound courtesy of their new Necrohell 2 Studio set-up, Too Old Too Cold showed that the band was here to stay, and lead the way.

Commenting back then, Fenriz defined the shift in style as "probably something like MOTORHEAD meeting HELLHAMMER on a CRUST PUNK/NECROTHRASH gig in '85".

Darkthrone Holy Darkthrone - Eight Norwegian Bands Paying Tribute - CD

On the aptly named 'Darkthrone Holy Darkthrone', eight Norwegian Black Metal legends pay tribute to the inspirational band that helped define the genre and pave the way for decades of destruction to come.
Originally released in 1998, the album was in honour of Darkthrone's first 10 years of existence.

The album mainly focuses on Darkthrone’s earliest works, from the blasting opener from the ‘A Blaze in the Northern Sky’ album - courtesy of Satyricon - via the experimental rendition of ‘The Pagan Winter’ from Thorns.
Closing with Immortal’s ‘To Walk the Infernal Fields’, this is a faithful and passionate tribute to an essential band given an individual touch from each act involved.

Darkthrone ‎– Arctic Thunder - CD

Norwegian duo, Darkthrone, return with their first new studio material since 2013's triumphant The Underground Resistance.
Fenriz and Nocturno Culto once more show their mastery of 'the riff', demonstrating why Darkthrone remain one of the most respected and enduring acts in the history of extreme Metal.
An eclectic mix of free-spirited 1980's fuelled blackened Heavy Metal executed in Darkthrone's trademark raw and organic style, Arctic Thunder was recorded and produced by the band, with the sessions conducted at Darkthrone's old rehearsal unit, The Bomb Shelter.
With themes based around hate, contempt, and the inner mind and soul, Arctic Thunder retains a grim atmosphere throughout the album's 8 tracks.

Darkthrone ‎– Sempiternal Past (The Darkthrone Demos) - CD

Darkthrone began in the late 80's as a thrash/death metal act and progressed through technical death/doom metal experimentation to become hugely respected and influential legends of the black metal world, and one of the original leading forces of the Norwegian scene, alongside other legendary acts such as Mayhem and Burzum.
'Sempiternal Past' contains all 4 of Darkthrone's cult demo releases recorded between 1988-1989 ('Land of Frost', 'A New Dimension', 'Thulcandra', & 'Cromlech') and shows the remarkable development of the band in its early years.
Each demo has now been fully restored and re-mastered from the best tape sources available, specifically for this release.
The cd booklet features liner notes, lyrics and rare photos of the band in their early years.

Darkthrone ‎– F.O.A.D. - LP

Writing began on 'FOAD' straight after the completion of last year's acclaimed 'The Cult is Alive'.
Recorded, mixed & all self-produced once again at the band's own Necrohell 2 studios throughout the first half of 2007, this labour of love (or is it hate') travels deep into the open seas of a rich musical heritage; a celebration of rock and metal; moving further from the pure primitive black metal they were once known for, but still embracing the roots of what made this tree grow so far and wide.
Yet still, Darkthrone only exist according to their OWN rules. Summarised perfectly by Fenriz, FOAD 'SOUNDS LIKE A WAR BETWEEN ATLANTIS AND THE REST OF PLANET!'.

Darkthrone ‎– The Cult Is Alive - LP

After their early foray into the world consciousness with SOULSIDE JOURNEY they delivered the unholy trinity of A BLAZE IN THE NORTHERN SKY, UNDER A FUNERAL MOON and TRANSILVANIAN HUNGER.
Censorship and heavy handed political correctness forced the band from Peaceville and they made a succession of albums for the fledgling Moonfog label.
Something was always missing from this equation though, and soon the band members yearned to go home and made it clear.
However, time heals all wounds, and as soon as the band became free they planned their return to the forefront of the Metal existence with Peaceville.
THE CULT IS ALIVE is the fetid, rotting, rocking first fruits of Darkthrone's second coming at Peaceville.

Yawning Man ‎– Macedonian Lines - LP

Yawning Man continue to establish their exceptionally unique approach to rock music on the bands latest album "Macedonian Lines" (Heavy Psych Sounds Records).
This follow up to the critically acclaimed "Revolt Against Tired Noises" shows a further maturing of melody, dynamics and emotion in the bands song writing.
Yawning Mans roots lay at the foundation of the desert rock and stoner rock sub genres however the music the band creates is truly organic and visceral, conjuring a flowing imagery and a emotional response.
On this release the band has a darker and massively heavier sound than past recordings as most of these tracks were developed in live performance and then fully realized in the studio.

Nebula - Let It Burn - CD-Digi

Black Vinyl

Eddie Glass and Ruben Romano (ex Fu Manchu) has put together one of the most sonically aural music obliterations ever put down on tape. Along with Queens of the Stone Age and Eternal Elysium, Nebula were one of the most pleasant surprises in the stoner rock movement. To call them another stoner rock band is an injustice to their versatility and dynamism. Nebula experiments with different types of sounds, including the raga piece "Raga in the Bloodshot Pyramid."

Aura Noir ‎– Black Thrash Attack - LP

Norway's Aura Noir was formed in 1993 by Aggressor and Apollyon in pursuit of a more thrash-based form of black metal than much of what was coming out at the time - particularly in their homeland - citing bands such as Slayer, Sodom and Kreator as inspirations along with purveyors of the scene such as Venom, for a dirtier, stripped down, violent black/thrash metal sound.
'Black Thrash Attack' was Aura Noir's debut full length album, originally recorded & released in 1996, and was a continuation of the intense thrash riffing displayed on 'Dreams Like Deserts'.
This edition of 'Black Thrash Attack' has been newly re-mastered by the band in Oslo, and also includes an exclusive cover of the venom classic 'Heavens on Fire', from the cult 'Black Metal' album.

Nebula - Dos E.P.'s - CD-Digi

Nebula is one of those bands that would have fit perfectly on a concert bill with Black Sabbath, Hawkwind, or the Stooges circa 1973. The power trio of Eddie Glass (vocals, guitars), Ruben Romano (drums), and Mark Abshire (bass) has quietly fused a somewhat modernized but highly distinctive '70s hard rock sound all its own. Releasing Dos Eps is a smart move, combining the very limited Sun Creature EP and the Meteor City split with three additional songs that groove on raunchy guitar hooks, opaque slacker vocals, and bleed-heavy drumming.

F.U.B.A.R. / Last Days Of Humanity ‎– Last Days Of Humanity / FUBAR - Split 9"

Last Days Of Humanity back with unreleased tracks recorded in 2006 and mastered with vocals in 2014, the job was done especially for this split so this is the first release after their highly aclaimed last full length ''Putrefaction In Progress'', recorded with the same line-up! 6 tracks of pure Gore Grind devastation with hyper fast blast pounding guitars and sick vocals!

Very active in the undergound, Dutch Grind Core band Fubar are giving us again something special in their very own style! Their part is five tracks recorded last year for this split!

All together comes in rare nine inch vinyl edition, Limited to 500 copies!

Asomvel – World Shaker - LP

World Shaker is dedicated to Jay-Jay Winter, the founding member of ASOMVEL, who was taken in a road accident in 2010. Carrying with it Jay’s attitude, grit, and determination this album is the first to feature the new line-up; Finnish drummer, Jani Pasanen, and Jay-Jay’s nephew, Ralph Robinson on bass/vocals.
Sticking to the traditions of the very best in rock ‘n’ roll, while remaining utterly relevant, World Shaker is eleven heavy metal songs to live your life by; this is the album Moses would have brought down from Mount Sinai.
