Here on Worm Ritual, the power-trio largely leave behind the juvenilia of their early work for real-world evil, upping the nastiness of their patented punk metal and reinventing it in a most respectable way. Naturally, NEKROFILTH's foundational influences of Slaughter (Canada), NME, and Repulsion remain, but with a more overtly muscular aspect - and, most definitely, a more overtly METAL one - Worm Ritual bristles with a punch-in-the-face intensity backed up by enviously compact songwriting, nodding often to the likes of Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Possessed, and even a bit of Autopsy. One after another, the 15 songs comprising the half-hour Worm Ritual state their case swiftly and simply, each one a mini-anthem in itself: rarely has "saying more with less" been this vicious and violent.

In the late 80’s and early 90’s, this band, alongside fellow Floridians DEATH and CYNIC, handcrafted the subgenre that spawned bands such as MESHUGGAH, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME and MUDVAYNE. With 'Jupiter', ATHEIST perfected it immensely.

DUEL is heavy psychedelic stoner doom metal from Austin, Texas. Hugely influenced by the darker sounds of early 70’s Proto-metal. Features two ex Scorpion Child (Nuclear Blast)members. Their sound is menacing and brutally old school. Total purists, their tunes cut right to the bone with heavy, deep groove and blistering tone. Tough and Loud! Hard rock as it should be!

High Reeper’s self titled debut is an unapologetic punch to the face for fans of early ‘70s proto-metal. The sound and smell of leather, weed, boozing, gambling and death permeate the record from start to finish. Nine tracks that run from uptempo straight ahead rock, to slowed down, heavy, early doom. Sound Effect and Deep Distance Records present "Daydream Melodies", the debut album by Free/Slope, aka Gothenburg, Sweden-based Daniel Fridlund Brandt. "Daydream Melodies" is a fully realized, rich-sounding, krautrockish psych mini-masterpiece of the highest caliber! Based on studio jams and improvisations, Free/Slope, through his almost jazz-like compositional technique, creates instrumental music with a classicist song-structure, while retaining some unmistakably loose, improvisational sensibility. His organic approach to recording adds to the spontaneity and acid-drenched feel of the record; woozy and otherworldy at the same time, "Daydream Melodies" demonstrates some rare musicality and artistry on a no-less-than-magical sound canvas.

Set for a release on January 25th 2019 via Heavy Psych Sounds, the 'Demos & Outtakes 98-02' will include 5 tracks that have never seen the light of day before (!!), alongside rare demos as well as cover songs such as the unique live version of Black Flag's 'Nervous Breakdown'! Beside these never published demos to date, the known tracks on this album are different to what NEBULA originally released on their previous records such as on 'Charged' or 'To The Center'. Some tracks were written and recorded in these sessions, some never made it on any of these or were used for B-sides and singles, and then we get songs such as 'Whalefinger' which has been the first song Eddie Glass ever wrote and which originally made it on a 7” B-side by Olivelawn, where Eddie has been playing drums for.
