DEMO POLICY

We at Spikerot are hungry for new music and we’re happy to give you a few tips on the best way to share your unreleased stuff with us.

Links are welcome. If you think your music fits our vision don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. The easiest way to submit your music is by sending us an email to demo@spikerot.com with a short description about your band/project including links to your Social Networks but, most importantly, your music (streaming, download or both). Any external platform will do (Soundcloud, Bandcamp, YouTube, Dropbox, you name it), no need of sending huge attachments via mail.

We also encourage bands to send us their stuff via standard mail as well, the way the product is presented is as important as the music itself. We like it old school so don’t feel outdated when considering physical copies for submission.

Our tastes have no boundaries but we do have some limits too. We’re big fans of metal in general but we’re not very fond of Power Metal, Symphonic Metal and Metalcore, we also like Grindcore, Death/Black Metal, Stoner Rock, Doom, Industrial, Post Metal, Cinematic soundscapes and experimental music pushed to extremes.

We’ll make sure all music will be heard and every mail will be replied to, though sending the same mail over and over again won’t increase your chances to get signed.
