Septicflesh – Mystic Places Of Dawn - CD
Since their reunion SEPTICFLESH have established themselves as a leading force of symphonic Dark Metal with their critically acclaimed masterpieces “Communion” (2008) and “The Great Mass” (2011).
Yet the Greeks already won a dedicated and strong fan-base in their first incarnation as SEPTIC FLESH.
Produced by former ROTTING CHRIST keyboardist and NEKROMANTIA founder Magus Wampyr Daoloth, their debut full-length “Mystic Places of Dawn” was released in 1994 and soon acquired cult status. TSJUDER are back! Next to DIMMU BORGIR, SATYRICON and IMMORTAL the three musicians from Oslo are one of the very few bands that manage to keep their roots in the harsh sounds loved by the underground but at the same time being able to write catchy melodies and great songs that make them appeal to the general Metal scene. Their fourth full-length stands proud witness to this development, which started with their first EPs “Throne of the Goat” (1997) and “Atum Nocturnem” (1999). Evil Angel – Unholy Evil Metal - CD
Formed during the dark days of 1998 in Lahti, Finland, EVIL ANGEL finally burst upon the international metal underground in 2002 with the Dark Forces of Hell demo. For the next number of years, the band would continue to perfect its outbreak-of-evil style of blackthrashing metal across more demos, splits, and the aptly titled Metal Onslaught EP. That last-named record was crucial in pointing the direction forward for EVIL ANGEL: each new recording brought them down into deeper depths of primitivism whilst underlining their connection to the unyielding strength of true METAL.
