Ken Mode – Entrench - CD-DIGI
KEN MODE is ready for the next great step.
KEN MODE’s fifth full-length “Entrench” proudly preserves their acclaimed metallic Post-Hardcore severity, while offering their most creative and sonically diverse album at the same time – to which famed producer Matt Bayles (MASTODON, ISIS, BOTCH) added a massive punch. Formed in 1999, KEN MODE have shared stages with THE END, MASTODON, BURNT BY THE SUN, PELICAN, THE DREAM IS DEAD and GAZA among others.
This band is hot and clearly bound to be the next big thing!
Seventh Genocide – SVNTH - CD
With its 30 minutes of lenght, the band’s new effort is a really solid and dynamic EP showing Seventh Genocide’s most metal side plunging into a tunnel of endless ambient, dark folk-oriented and post-rock-ish layers.
SVNTH gives a completely new birth to some of the band’s old material and offers new tunes as well, creating a stunning combination of melodic intertwinings, abrasive distortions and atmospherically brooding overtures.
Seventh Genocide – Breeze Of Memories - CD
First album ot the band after the post-black metal evolution.
Fast and massive riffs merge with soft and comtemplative acoustic and post rock passaged.
For fans of Alcest, Vallendusk, Agalloch and Deafheaven.
Hibagọn – Polyposmic - LP
Heavy polyrhythmic duo from Bergamo (Italy) that channels the energy of the straightforward guitar & drums formula into irregular textures, bringing it back to the listener in geometric and distorted frames.
Wows – Ver Sacrum - CD Digi
WOWS is a six soldiers army fighting against everything and nothing and following light and darkness.
‘Ver Sacrum’ is a path through destruction, emptiness and rebirth.
Cover artwork by Paolo Girardi.
Zeit – The World Is Nothing - CD Digi
Zeit is an Italian band blending Converge-like influences with hints of Swedish Death Metal, especially in the use of guitars. Highly technical Post Hardcore and heavy riffs.
Big Scenic Nowhere – Vision Beyond Horizon - CD-Digi
"This album is a collaborative effort and the sum of its parts. The basic riffs and song structures were done by myself and Gary Arce, but the contributions from Tony Reed, Lisa Alley, Ian Graham, Mario Lalli, Nick Oliveri, Bill Stinson, Per Wiberg and Alain Johannes make this record what it is.
There was never a discussion of what kind of music we wanted to make.
But if I had to describe it there are elements of Soundgarden, Pink Floyd, Yawning Man and Fu Manchu."
Bob Balch of Fu Manchu
Lambs - Malice - CD-Digi
LAMBS‡ combine black metal, sludge and post-hardcore elements to create a very personal and abrasive wall of sounds; unfiltered and raw, they are taking you on a trip into oppressive, gloomy atmospheres.
Meat Shits – Ecstasy Of Death - CD
Reissue of a sold-out classic album from 1993, cult porn-grind, no words needed, just Meat Shits!
Brant Bjork – Jacoozzi - CD-Digi

"Back in December of 2010, I went into a house in Joshua Tree California to record another solo record. About 4 days into the sessions, I decided to abandon the 8 songs I was working on, told my long time friend and engineer, Tony Mason, to start rolling tape and I proceeded to play drums in my natural improv style. After multiple drum track performances were captured, I then started layering guitars, bass and percussion in the same improvisational spirit. I essentially decided to "jam" by myself for the rest of my scheduled sessions. I decided to call the collective tracks, Jacoozzi. At the time, it reminded me of the feeling of my first solo recording sessions for my first solo release, Jalamanta.... only more "free". "
