On the aptly named 'Darkthrone Holy Darkthrone', eight Norwegian Black Metal legends pay tribute to the inspirational band that helped define the genre and pave the way for decades of destruction to come.
Originally released in 1998, the album was in honour of Darkthrone's first 10 years of existence.

The album mainly focuses on Darkthrone’s earliest works, from the blasting opener from the ‘A Blaze in the Northern Sky’ album - courtesy of Satyricon - via the experimental rendition of ‘The Pagan Winter’ from Thorns.
Closing with Immortal’s ‘To Walk the Infernal Fields’, this is a faithful and passionate tribute to an essential band given an individual touch from each act involved.

Going through rare and previously unreleased tracks from former recording sessions, alternate versions of well beloved songs and even a brand new track, KYLESA remixed and rearranged those they felt to have a permeating feeling of togetherness into this outstanding collection “From the Vaults Vol. I”. Far beyond the average compilation it will make you wish for Vol. II!

The rays of The Sonic Dawn are like a reminder that reality is only temporary. Flickering between light and darkness, their sound burns with an intensity that places the Danish trio among the top psychedelic acts of their time. 

Eclipse, their third full-length, is the product of a full year’s labor, with all 13 tracks carefully selected among over 40 candidates. Inspired by personal tragedies and the current meltdown of the world as we know it, the songs deal with a feeling of despair that many will recognize, but also seem to say that we can heal and come out stronger, if we dare take the leap. The result is a cinematic journey in sonic technicolor. Here, even the catchiest melody casts a mysterious shadow.
