The music present on this disc is probably best described as a collision of shoegazing pop and Swedish counterculture psychedelia.
Imagine Träd, Gräs & Stenar or GOAT trying to sound like My Bloody Valentine at their peak. Think now of endless summer nights, infinite access to weed and a 24-7 flying carpet service and you get a glimpse of what is going on here.

Melody Fields spring out of Gothenburg and are thus the latest wonder from Sweden’s west coast music revolution. The music has been recorded at Studio Parkeringshuset where Hills, GOAT and The Movements have made their albums. Among the guest musicians are Holy Wave’s (US) Dustin Zozaya on mellotron and Nils Börén on saxophone.

When it comes to Gothic Metal, most people think of Bands like The Gathering, Theatre of Tragedy, Tristania, Leaves' Eyes etc... Of course it is the genre with a lot of female-fronted outfits, but be honest:

'KEY OF SOLOMON' includes 9 new songs, elegantly combines classic rock, doom and blues into an exciting musical experience. DEMON INCARNATE cleverly combines the 70s sound of Black Sabbath, Mountain or Captain Beyond with the doomy attitude of bands like Trouble or The Obsessed.

This camel is certainly not a lone voice in the wilderness. Especially since LONELY KAMEL indeed sound like a desert, but in truth come from Norway. And obviously traditional Hard Rock can be produced quite exquisitely between fjords and endless forests, which sound nice, meaty and dry. On their fourth album the Norwegians act in the tension between Hard Rock from the seventies, Stoner Rock, Blues, Psychedelic and a dash of Doom.
Nine tracks with everything the genre has to offer: from the rough, punky title track, which has a certain punk attitude over extended jams to compact four-minute earwigs. And thus is clear: LONELY KAMEL clearly belong to the spearhead of the European Rocker scene.

The 2nd full length of czech goreginders SPASM is one of the most powerful albums in 2008 !! Their style turned more into a brutal goregrind, with changing vocals near to Jig Ai, Ahumado Granujo, Eardelete... like on most czech productions you will get a clear but rough-enough soundquality !
