Chile's Capilla Ardiente are the brainchild of bassist Claudio Botarro Neira and vocalist Felipe Plaza Kutzbach; the current line-up is completed by Julio Borquez (rhythm, lead & acoustic guitars), Igor Leiva (rhythm guitar) and Francisco Aguirre (drums). Botarro and Plaza are also playing with fellow doomsters (and High Roller recording artists) Procession. However, there is a fundamental difference between Capilla Ardiente and Procession, neither of which is a mere side project but both are full-blown bands.

Capilla Ardiente's latest album "The Siege" consists of four epic compositions following 2014's debut album "Bravery, Truth And The Endless Darkness".

Something important to be noticed it is the skill they have to provide almost every song an identity on its own yet conceptualizing the album as a whole. Not too many bands have that ability today..

Noise Trail Immersion thrives on fusing chaos and calm in an emotionally rousing manner both mournful and vitriolic throughout Symbology of Shelter. The album kicks off knee deep in disgust and aggression, seething endlessly on cuts such as opener "Mirroring", while showcasing an ambitious side and somber vibes of an entirely different nature on the album’s double dose of two-part songs, beginning with "Repulsion and Escapism Parts I and II", then returning later on the album to the journey contained between “The Empty Earth I” and “The Empty Earth II”.

Combining elements of horror-film soundtracks, psychedelic doom, and atmospheric noise, INSECT ARK’s intensely visual music weaves interludes of fragile beauty with crushing passages of swirling doom, spinning like a backwards fever dream. “Marrow Hymns” is a wordless song, a hypnotic voice that screams and whispers from a place deep in the furrows, from the bones, from the blood. Defying easy categorization.

The vocals are ripped as usual, some songs are screamed but yet others feature melodic lines. The album has a punk-stoner sound with a desert rock attitude.
All the songs are written by Nick Oliveri “ Rex Everything”.

The album features the cover of “Dog Food” by Iggy Pop with Dave Grohl on drums. Nick knows how to surprise us all the time! He picked this lost gem from his secret stash!
