Birmingham-based sludge-soaked ghetto rockers BOVINE will unleash The Sun Never Sets On The British Empire on April 12th (CD, Digital Download), April 26th. (LP) via FDA Rekotz. A fire-branded mix of KYUSS, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, early SOUNDGARDEN and BARONESS, BOVINE's bottom-heavy and primal assault will surely leave many a listener convulsing on the floor. The band's tuneful and, at times, space-proggish, approach to songwriting will make the experience as enjoyable as it is bone-rattling.

Nebula's first non-EP, full-length release, To the Center is another retro-psychedelic heavy rock platter, long on stripped-down riff muscle and surprisingly technically adept guitar jams. The results sometimes meander, which probably isn't of much consequence if this brand of metal is your bag, since this is what you'd expect in this perception-expanding context. What matters more than tightly structured songs are riffs and atmosphere, and both of those are present in abundance.

After their early foray into the world consciousness with SOULSIDE JOURNEY they delivered the unholy trinity of A BLAZE IN THE NORTHERN SKY, UNDER A FUNERAL MOON and TRANSILVANIAN HUNGER.
Censorship and heavy handed political correctness forced the band from Peaceville and they made a succession of albums for the fledgling Moonfog label.
Something was always missing from this equation though, and soon the band members yearned to go home and made it clear. 
However, time heals all wounds, and as soon as the band became free they planned their return to the forefront of the Metal existence with Peaceville.

Mountain Legacy is an album exploring something fundamental to humanity: ISOLATION.
The illusion of silence, which is a natural non-existing concept, is perfectly described by synthetized sounds and noises of the newly acquired band member Claudio Rocchetti (In Zaire). These sounds are missing on the first self-titled release of Deadsmoke, so now the old tracks have been enriched and new ones have been composed providing a consistent psych-disturbed synthetized sound. Six brand new tracks featuring deep guitar fuzz and growling bass take the listener on a journey through the woods, alternating lightly groovy rhythms with sludge-doom cadences.
