The original and founding members of Swedish/Finnish grindcore band AFGRUND, being Andy, Pat and long-time drummer Panu are back after six years with their fourth full album. On the aptly named 'Darkthrone Holy Darkthrone', eight Norwegian Black Metal legends pay tribute to the inspirational band that helped define the genre and pave the way for decades of destruction to come.
Originally released in 1998, the album was in honour of Darkthrone's first 10 years of existence.

The album mainly focuses on Darkthrone’s earliest works, from the blasting opener from the ‘A Blaze in the Northern Sky’ album - courtesy of Satyricon - via the experimental rendition of ‘The Pagan Winter’ from Thorns.
Closing with Immortal’s ‘To Walk the Infernal Fields’, this is a faithful and passionate tribute to an essential band given an individual touch from each act involved.

'Goliathan' embodies the band's trademark shuffle and swagger at their fullest. Syrupy slow riffs are buoyed by canyon-deep bass and some of the hardest-hitting drumming since Keith Moon. Easterfaust by The Cosmic Dead: a magic carpet ride that began in the hazy days of August 2013 when the cosmics spent five days in a remote isolated garage in the Scottish Highlands with only Focaccia king Luigi Pasquini for company.
Easterfaust was the first momentous improvisation from this session to be released and captures the band in a moment of sheer, vibrant exuberance feeling their way through 42 minutes of visceral augmented repetition which metamorphs from the distant echo of space rock to an all-encompassing climactic synchronicity of sound.
Originally released in 2014, this long sold-out and sought after album is now repressed by Sound Effect Records and will be available in 3 limited vinyl editions and CD.

Written, directed and starred by CARLO VERDONE and produced by SERGIO LEONE, ‘BIANCO ROSSO E VERDONE’ was released in 1981 and instantly became a fan-favorite comedy and a cult classic, giving birth to some of Verdone’s most recognizable carachters of his whole 40+ years career.

The Soundtrack, composed by the late Maestro ENNIO MORRICONE, will be finally available on vinyl for the first time ever, to celebrate the 40th(+1) anniversary of this cult movie.

"A pugni nudi" (With bare fists) - presented with a more than explicit subtitle "For a sad experience in a juvenile detention center" - is a 1974 film directed by Marcello Zeani; it can be associated to the Italian police genre, but it stands on its own due to its being set in the world of boxing.
It's a drama movie too, with a non-optimistic nor hopeful ending at all, accompanied by the music of Franco Bixio, with a distinctive jazz-rock imprint, a strong presence of symphonic arrangements and a singular more 'disengaged' episode ("Split second", on the B side of the LP).

A small gem, equally able to describe dramatic and tensive moments, now rediscovered and reissued for the first time on vinyl by AMS Records!
