Yawning Man - The Revolt Against Tired Noises - LP

The aural experience of Yawning Man summarizes as an intense yet graceful kaleidoscope of polyphonic musical textures.

Dramatic and flowing, dark, intense and emotional. July 2018 finds the band releasing their most musically exciting recording to date with their 6th full length LP, “THE REVOLT AGAINST TIRED NOISES” on the ambitious up and coming independent label, HEAVY PSYCH SOUNDS.

The songs on this release are described as “an emotional and visceral expression of pure melodic darkness and beauty”, the album was recorded at Gato Trail Studios in Joshua Tree, CA and produced and engineered by friend and long time collaborator, Mathias Schneeberger (Mark Lanegan, Greg Duli, SUNN O))), Earth, The Obsessed)

Uncreation - Overwhelming Chaos CD

Unrelenting Ancient Death Metal. Chaotic guitar riffing, a frantic drums work, morbid obscure vocals and diseased
bestiality without compromise! No fucking mercy!!!

In the vein of early pioneers of traditional Death Metal, like early MORBID ANGEL, early DEICIDE, early GOREFEST, DEMIGOD,
CONVULSE, AUTOPSY, early GRAVE, GORGUTS... thinking also to KAAMOS and SLUGATHOR...!!!

The Sonic Dawn - Eclipse - LP

The rays of The Sonic Dawn are like a reminder that reality is only temporary. Flickering between light and darkness, their sound burns with an intensity that places the Danish trio among the top psychedelic acts of their time.

Eclipse, their third full-length, is the product of a full year’s labor, with all 13 tracks carefully selected among over 40 candidates. Inspired by personal tragedies and the current meltdown of the world as we know it, the songs deal with a feeling of despair that many will recognize, but also seem to say that we can heal and come out stronger, if we dare take the leap. The result is a cinematic journey in sonic technicolor. Here, even the catchiest melody casts a mysterious shadow.

Behemoth - Demigod

Demigod was Behemoth's seventh album and was originally released in 2004 to great acclaim. This helped further propel the band to the forefront of the extreme metal genre with some savage riffs, technical mastery, combined with lyrical themes exploring occultism and mythology. Demigod was recorded at Hendrix Studios, Poland, then moving to Dug Out Studios in Sweden for the mixing process. The album also features a guest appearance by Karl Sanders of US death gods, Nile.

This edition of Demigod is presented on 180gm black vinyl.

AD OGNI COSTO is an action movie directed in 1967 by Giuliano Montaldo and starring Janet Leigh,Edward G. Robinson,Robert Hoffmann, Klaus Kinski, Riccardo Cucciolla, Georges Rigaud, Adolfo Celi. The soundtrack by Ennio Morricone musically reflects the scenario of Rio that is the background to the company of a band of thieves with an effervescent use pieces of Brazilian music alternated with romantic Beat flavor. Mastered by mono stereo tapes of the time with the inclusion of four tracks not included on the promotional 33 rpm album in those days. Colored vinyl.

Limited to 500 copies on Orange LP

Tons ‎– Filthy Flowers Of Doom - LP

"Filthy Flowers of Doom" is Tons' second full length album.
40 minutes divided into five tracks of in your face doomy sludge metal.
Slabby and Luciferian riffs, tight drumming and a demonic voice characterize the last effort from the Turin band, now with a new drummer and a second guitar. Low-league occultism and weed devotion are the basis of this muddy album that will drag you into a sulphurous and sabbathian void.

“Filthy Flowers of Doom” is recorded by Danilo “Deepest Sea” Battocchio, while mastering is helmed by Brad Boatright (Sleep, NAILS, Obituary) at Audiosiege (USA). Let the Doom goes on.....

Usurpress - Trenches Of The Netherworld - CD

After the MCD on Selfmadegod Records, and the split EPs with Pyramido (Plague Island) and Bombs of Hades (Doomentia) here's the first full-length for Usurpress, a new kick-ass band from Uppsala (SWE) featuring "old" starring of the punk/metal scene: Stefan “Steffe” Pettersson (DISKONTO, UNCURBED) and Daniel Ekeroth - bass player from TYRANT, DELLAMORTE and also author of the book “Swedish Death Metal”.

11 crushing songs of Swedish death metal mixed with some d-beat/crust punk influences.

Nebula - Dos E.P.'s - CD-Digi

Nebula is one of those bands that would have fit perfectly on a concert bill with Black Sabbath, Hawkwind, or the Stooges circa 1973. The power trio of Eddie Glass (vocals, guitars), Ruben Romano (drums), and Mark Abshire (bass) has quietly fused a somewhat modernized but highly distinctive '70s hard rock sound all its own. Releasing Dos Eps is a smart move, combining the very limited Sun Creature EP and the Meteor City split with three additional songs that groove on raunchy guitar hooks, opaque slacker vocals, and bleed-heavy drumming.

Dzjenghis Khan ‎– Dzjenghis Khan - CD-Digi

One of the most important Psych - Acid Rock albums of the new millenium. The Dzjenghis Khan self-titled debut album was released in 2007 by the Dutch indipendent label Motorwolf. The San Francisco based band Dzjenghis Khan featured bassist Carson Binks (also in Wild Eyes and Saviours), drummer Tommy Tomson and guitarist Lane Rider. This record reflects the musical scene of that era and it's still a raw acid rock pearl! Heavy Psych Sounds Records is so proud to bring back to the current audience a piece of real Acid Rock. Dzjenghis Khan was one of the first bands to bring back the “psych sound”, in a time where there was not real audience, we can say they've been pioneers after the pioneers!

Human Cull ‎– Revenant - CD

On 'Revenant' HUMAN CULL push their already frantic crust-tinged blast-heavy grind of the last release into overdrive, featuring a huge production from Will Blackmon (Gadget, The Arson Project) and furious instrumental performances running in the style of 'FETO' era Napalm Death or 'Human 2.0' Nasum.

The band display clear death metal and crust influences here, and this is certainly the closest to death metal their sound has come. Strong tones from the likes of Unleashed, the ever present Swedeath classics like Entombed and Obituary are found rubbing shoulders with the angular notes of Discordance Axis and Doom, flowing together in one gribbly monstrosity of a release.

This album is the most polished example of contemporary grind from these veterans of the UK scene.
