One of the most important Psych - Acid Rock albums of the new millenium. The Dzjenghis Khan self-titled debut album was released in 2007 by the Dutch indipendent label Motorwolf. The San Francisco based band Dzjenghis Khan featured bassist Carson Binks (also in Wild Eyes and Saviours), drummer Tommy Tomson and guitarist Lane Rider. This record reflects the musical scene of that era and it's still a raw acid rock pearl! Heavy Psych Sounds Records is so proud to bring back to the current audience a piece of real Acid Rock. Dzjenghis Khan was one of the first bands to bring back the “psych sound”, in a time where there was not real audience, we can say they've been pioneers after the pioneers!

Poland’s grandmasters of radical grindcore, ANTIGAMA, have completed the seventh full-length installation of their cutting edge arsenal, “The Insolent”.

Seeing the band further along their ongoing path of progression, “The Insolent” contains another intriguing alloy of their futuristic grind savagery heavily diversified with cosmic exploration and harsh dissonance through ten new tracks of unorthodox, rapid forward-thinking metal.

Engineered and mixed by Pawel Grabowski and the band, mastered by Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed), the album features a very special guest appearance of the legend of Polish electronic music scene, Władysław “Gudonis” Komendarek, and bears cover art designed by Bartek Rogalewicz.

EN MINOR has been culminating since Philip H Anselmo was a child in the French Quarter in New Orleans.
The bases of some songs that have now become the EN MINOR project were written at significant stages in Philip’s life, starting at 9 years old when given his first guitar and no patience to learn other people’s music, started writing his own. Other material from Anselmo’s band of underground lore, Body & Blood, has evolved into EN MINOR songs.

Although Philip is most well-known for Extreme Metal and Rock, here we get to hear a softer side of his vocal chords, but lyrically is heavy as anything.

This is not “party” music. This is “kill the party” music.

Originally released by Swedish Sludge monsters SUMA in 2010, "Ashes" is a beast of granitic riffs, sludge destruction and unrelentless heaviness, engine-eared, mixed and produced by Billy Anderson.

The Italian psych-fuzz trio Black Rainbows sound like the bastard offspring of 70's hard-rock swagger and 90's stoner-groove; hints of Black Sabbath, MC5 and Hawkwind fuse with liberal pinches of Monster Magnet and Fu Manchu. Since 2007 the band have released three full-length albums, coupled with split releases with bands such as White Hills, Naam and Farflung, and finally the recently highly acclaimed Holy Moon Ep. They have also been regulars on stages across the world having now performed over 300 gigs.

Set for a release on January 25th 2019 via Heavy Psych Sounds, the 'Demos & Outtakes 98-02' will include 5 tracks that have never seen the light of day before (!!), alongside rare demos as well as cover songs such as the unique live version of Black Flag's 'Nervous Breakdown'! Beside these never published demos to date, the known tracks on this album are different to what NEBULA originally released on their previous records such as on 'Charged' or 'To The Center'. Some tracks were written and recorded in these sessions, some never made it on any of these or were used for B-sides and singles, and then we get songs such as 'Whalefinger' which has been the first song Eddie Glass ever wrote and which originally made it on a 7” B-side by Olivelawn, where Eddie has been playing drums for.
