Tengri / Drom – Ur (LP)

Two unique bands, five majestic compositions, one album. Split effort named "UR" unites two alternative outfits of Czech heavy scene - post-metal/shoegaze band DROM and alternative post-rock act TENGRI. Both bands offer the listener their unique sound and approach to the composition. No matter some differences you can still find a lot of similarities between these two musical worlds. The two parts of the album work great together. In fact, one cannot exist without the other. "UR" is a must-have for those who love experimental heavy music with emphasis on strong atomsphere. So close your eyes and let yourself float beyond the borders of your mind to explore unknown beauties.

Stråle - Bourbon Souls - CD

“Bourbon Souls” is a monster, a compilation of instant hits that marry broadband alternative metal you’d usually hear from North America with equal panache and self-confidence to the melancholy tradition of latter-day SENTENCED.
As such, the album is set to bedazzle a wide audience that appreciates familiar tropes and fresh energy alike.

Planet Of Zeus ‎– Faith In Physics - CD-Digi

In 2019, at a time in which irrationalism seems to be king, Planet of Zeus return with their highly anticipated fifth studio album, "Faith in Physics".
Lyrically, this album seems to be Planet of Zeus's most socio-politically conscious release, dealing with themes such as digitalization, religion, social network pseudo-revolution, addiction and lonerism.
Musically, it sounds like the band's chosen to take the dirtiest path possible in order to create the highly charged atmosphere needed to get its messages through.
46 minutes of heavy, intellectual riffology and fat grooves, reminiscent of RATM's best days, MC5-esque attitude, coupled with QOTSA's pop sensibilities.

Nightstalker ‎– Great Hallucinations - CD-Digi

The legendary stoner rockers are back! One of the first bands of the genre present their 8th album after their first EP (SideFX) back in 1994 (the grunge rock era).
This time the album hits directly to the soul. 8 new tracks which are different to each other, combining groovy parts with heaviness and melodies.
The guitars are still heavy but spacey and psychedelic at the same time. The bass is always groovy with intense playing.
All together with a lot of catchy melodies and the power of Argy’s vocals are the secret of the music of Nightstalker.
Raw rock 'n roll simplicity, stunning riffs and electric haze are what have kept the band going for more than 20 years.

Nebula - To The Center - CD-Digi

Nebula's first non-EP, full-length release, To the Center is another retro-psychedelic heavy rock platter, long on stripped-down riff muscle and surprisingly technically adept guitar jams. The results sometimes meander, which probably isn't of much consequence if this brand of metal is your bag, since this is what you'd expect in this perception-expanding context. What matters more than tightly structured songs are riffs and atmosphere, and both of those are present in abundance.

Nebula - Let It Burn - CD-Digi

Eddie Glass and Ruben Romano (ex Fu Manchu) has put together one of the most sonically aural music obliterations ever put down on tape. Along with Queens of the Stone Age and Eternal Elysium, Nebula were one of the most pleasant surprises in the stoner rock movement. To call them another stoner rock band is an injustice to their versatility and dynamism. Nebula experiments with different types of sounds, including the raga piece "Raga in the Bloodshot Pyramid."
