Both bands offer the listener their unique sound and approach to the composition. No matter some differences you can still find a lot of similarities between these two musical worlds. The two parts of the album work great together. In fact, one cannot exist without the other. "UR" is a must-have for those who love experimental heavy music with emphasis on strong atomsphere. Stoned Jesus emerged as Igor's Krobak side-project, dealing with the heavier and darker side of rock-music. Beginning with sludge and post-metal blueprints, it shaped into a full-time band, becoming musically closer to stoner rock and traditional doom metal in vein of early Black Sabbath, later days Electric Wizard and classic Sleep. SJ's second demo, “Occult/Black Woods”, contains two fuzzy sabbathian epics filled with catchy riffs, Hendrix-like guitar solos and professional vocals. After releasing their début "First Communion" record and playing dozens of gigs in Ukraine and Russia, the band went through line-up change and released a new EP entitled "Stormy Monday" on April 7th 2011.

"Violentopia" brings forth 13 tracks of blistering brutal death metal mixed with elements of grindcore, slam and old school heaviness. This is the band's first major release from founding guitarist Jaleel Castillo along with completely new line-up consisting of drummer Matt Johnson, bassist/vocalist Karl Schmidt, guitarist Ray Nevison, and vocalist Matti “Niño” Guey. The album also features guest performances from members of PIG DESTROYER, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, ISOLATION IN INFAMY and more.
