Chile's Capilla Ardiente are the brainchild of bassist Claudio Botarro Neira and vocalist Felipe Plaza Kutzbach; the current line-up is completed by Julio Borquez (rhythm, lead & acoustic guitars), Igor Leiva (rhythm guitar) and Francisco Aguirre (drums). Botarro and Plaza are also playing with fellow doomsters (and High Roller recording artists) Procession. However, there is a fundamental difference between Capilla Ardiente and Procession, neither of which is a mere side project but both are full-blown bands.

Capilla Ardiente's latest album "The Siege" consists of four epic compositions following 2014's debut album "Bravery, Truth And The Endless Darkness".

Founded in 1997 in the Swiss region of Bern, black metal solo-project PAYSAGE D'HIVER remained a strictly underground phenomenon at first. Mastermind Wintherr unleashed a steady stream of 10 full-length so-called "demos" and 4 split-EPs that earned him an excellent reputation and large following.
Each full-length release, including the so-called "demos" and regular albums, constitutes a chapter of a continuing story, which PAYSAGE D'HIVER narrate about a protagonist called "Der Wanderer", who roams an otherworld realm.

In "Geister", the Wanderer has a lucid dream in which he meets beings from another dimension, which is in fact our world. To him, we terrestrials appear as the ghosts. Our only means of contacting the Wanderer in the world of PAYSAGE D'HIVER is through the rites of winter.

Nebula's first non-EP, full-length release, To the Center is another retro-psychedelic heavy rock platter, long on stripped-down riff muscle and surprisingly technically adept guitar jams. The results sometimes meander, which probably isn't of much consequence if this brand of metal is your bag, since this is what you'd expect in this perception-expanding context. What matters more than tightly structured songs are riffs and atmosphere, and both of those are present in abundance.
