Poland’s grandmasters of radical grindcore, ANTIGAMA, have completed the seventh full-length installation of their cutting edge arsenal, “The Insolent”.

Seeing the band further along their ongoing path of progression, “The Insolent” contains another intriguing alloy of their futuristic grind savagery heavily diversified with cosmic exploration and harsh dissonance through ten new tracks of unorthodox, rapid forward-thinking metal.

Engineered and mixed by Pawel Grabowski and the band, mastered by Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed), the album features a very special guest appearance of the legend of Polish electronic music scene, Władysław “Gudonis” Komendarek, and bears cover art designed by Bartek Rogalewicz.

On ‘Legends’ you can hear the reminiscence of Black Sabbath, Alice in Chains, Tool, Black Label Society, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Muse and High on Fire masterfully blended to sound fresh and unique while being carefully packed in traditional conceptualism inherent to the band’s music and ideology since its inception.

The Man Behind The Sun is SednA’s third album in ten years, one single track for a 33-minute-long sonic opus delving deep into the hazes of Black Metal, Post Rock and Doom.

Prior to the formation of Queens of the Stone Age, bassist/singer Nick Oliveri recorded some originals with ex-Kyuss bandmates Josh Homme (guitar) and Brant Bjork (drums), plus Karma to Burn's Rob (drums) and others.
But once recording was completed, Oliveri decided to shelve the tapes; it wasn't until several years later (well after Queens of the Stone Age began to establish themselves) that the bassist decided to release the songs on a friend's indie label, Southern Lord Records.
Going by the name Mondo Generator, 11 tracks were compiled for the 2000 release Cocaine Rodeo.

The majority of the songs are much more raw and hardcore/punk-based than Oliveri's output with QOTSA, as evidenced by such tracks as "Shawnette," "Uncle Tommy," "Unless I Can Kill," and "I Want You to Die."

A true four-piece, Portland, Oregon's Ape Machine has been called "a rock and roll band with a finger on the pulse of the 70's and their asses firmly in the present" and "real heavy-psych for the iPhone generation" that delivers "true guts and glory rock and roll." Combining psychedelic, classic and progressive rock with arena-worthy metal, bluesy stoner-rock and catchy riffs in odd signatures, Ape Machine's music carries an organic depth and warmth rarely heard since the time of rock's glorious early years (or your Dad's bad ass record collection) infused with an exceptional modern sensibility.

YATTAÏ plays hardboiled grindcore: fast and furious stuff with lot of influences taken from crust and death metal, to postcore and doom.

With their long awaited debut album 'Drifting Towards Inevitable Death' the Finns God Disease created the soundtrack to a never-ending winter, full of melancholy and filthy brutality. Expect gnawed-by-rotten-maggots Death/Doom Metal at it's best.

The third album by the Italian band continues exploring dark fantasies of the talented musicians.
Demonstrating significant progress and development, (EchO) created a mosaic canvas on a melodic death doom metal base filled with outstanding melodies and intersections with different styles, with a touch of psychedelia and a perfect combination of fragility and brutality (both in music and vocals).
Carefully crafted arrangements ensured by the coherence and skills of the musicians are the unique feature of (EchO), that was perfected by Greg Chandler (Esoteric), who performed mixing and mastering in Priory Recording Studio.

"A pugni nudi" (With bare fists) - presented with a more than explicit subtitle "For a sad experience in a juvenile detention center" - is a 1974 film directed by Marcello Zeani; it can be associated to the Italian police genre, but it stands on its own due to its being set in the world of boxing.
It's a drama movie too, with a non-optimistic nor hopeful ending at all, accompanied by the music of Franco Bixio, with a distinctive jazz-rock imprint, a strong presence of symphonic arrangements and a singular more 'disengaged' episode ("Split second", on the B side of the LP).

A small gem, equally able to describe dramatic and tensive moments, now rediscovered and reissued for the first time on vinyl by AMS Records!
