On the back of last year's critically acclaimed "Amber & Gold" EP, Alunah return with "Violet Hour", the new album and first for Heavy Psych Sounds.
"Violet Hour" sees the energy of Alunah's dark, doom tinged hard rock being cranked up with the arrival of guitarist Dean Ashton (bass, Diamond Head) alongside the soaring vocals of Sian Greenaway and rhythmic foundation of Dan Burchmore and Jake Mason. Recorded at the historic Welsh Foel Studio and produced by Chris Fielding (Conan, Electric Wizard, Primordial) the 8 tracks on display show the fruits of a productive early 2019 with a searing combination of melodies, riffs and focused writing.

Sleeping tree is not here to play games. On their self-titled debut album the three-man-band from southern Germany focuses on the essentials: hard riffs, straight basslines and hammering drums. The extended guitar solos make very clear which musical paths the band is following.

Sleeping Tree is a three-man stoner-/doom-formation from Augsburg, Germany.
Heavily influenced by groups like Black Sabbath, their music is heavily blues driven and inspired by classic stoner- and doom-rock, but never fails to incorporate a scenic, personal touch.

“Sinfonías del Terror Ciego” is a master-crafted putrid Grinding Death Metal ode to Machetazo’s fellow countryman De Ossorio’s 70’s Euro-Horror cult film trilogy about the Blind Dead Templars.
First repress ever for this 2005 cult piece of work.
Machetazo and Throne decided to arrange a very limited repress of just 100 copies on colored vinyl and 200 copies on black vinyl, worldwide.
This new pressing contains revamped artwork, including all new liner notes from Dave Wagner (Evoken), Pierre De Palmas (Braindead Mag.) and Doc Holocausto (Evilspeak Mag.).

It’s easy to imagine the mouthful title of riff-rocking Roman trio Black Rainbows third album, Supermothafuzzalicious!! (double-exclamation points included), emerged as a spontaneous outburst upon hearing the record in studio playback. It’s about as apt a title as I could come up with, and though the band seem to be perpetually following the riffs of guitarist/vocalist Gabriele Fiori, they have undertaken some creative growth since their 2008 debut. The 11 songs on side B were previously released on the AGATHOCLES/KUOLEMA (Finland) split 7"EP, AGATHOCLES/FAT ASS FUCKERS (Belgium) split 7"EP, AGATHOCLES/THE USUAL SUSPECTS (Belgium) split 7"EP and AGATHOCLES/KADAVERFICKER (Germany) split 7"EP.
