This is an album that grabs your attention by force, and will not let you go.
Another tour the force of this remarkable conjurer of darkness. The new album, ‘Genocidal Majesty’, delivers exactly what the titles promises: it’s epically brutal, filthy and oppressive, but with such an over-arching grandeur, you cannot but feel compelled to descend together with Gnaw Their Tongues into sheer madness.

Sound Effect and Deep Distance Records present "Daydream Melodies", the debut album by Free/Slope, aka Gothenburg, Sweden-based Daniel Fridlund Brandt. "Daydream Melodies" is a fully realized, rich-sounding, krautrockish psych mini-masterpiece of the highest caliber! Based on studio jams and improvisations, Free/Slope, through his almost jazz-like compositional technique, creates instrumental music with a classicist song-structure, while retaining some unmistakably loose, improvisational sensibility. His organic approach to recording adds to the spontaneity and acid-drenched feel of the record; woozy and otherworldy at the same time, "Daydream Melodies" demonstrates some rare musicality and artistry on a no-less-than-magical sound canvas.
Old School Hardcore from Boston, MA (USA) - LP
Orange marbled vinyl
Formed in Italy in 2015, the band started to shape its mixture of atmospheric post metal and black metal riffs. The result of these four years of gigs and struggles is the new release Eclipses from the Duat, out on October 25th, 2019 via Epidemic Records, Shove Records and the Danish Rakkerpak Records. The new album is a step forward from the previous one, Ashes, in terms of darkness and heaviness.
Spearheaded by the group Neurosis, Tribes of Neurot were formed with the intent of exploring the concept of Neurosis more in-depth and on a much more intuitive level.
Tribes of Neurot allow for a much broader range of expression and experimentation in all media. Tribes of Neurot are dedicated to the rebirth and survival of native tribal cultures and spiritual practices, as this is a key to understanding the Neurosis concept, not to mention the past and future of humanity. Encompassing a myriad of textures of ambiance from minimal walls of soothing sound waves to disturbing schizophrenic shapes of cranial bombast, Silver Blood Transmission takes these incredibly eclectic musicians to territories previously uncharted.
The Roundhouse Tapes contains a powerful and atmospheric Opeth performance recorded at the Camden Roundhouse, London, UK, on November 9th, 2006.
The concert saw the band in scintillating form performing a selection of classics spanning the entirety of their illustrious career.
'The Roundhouse concert will always be a very memorable gig for us for many reasons, but most importantly it caught the band at the peak of the Ghost Reveries Tour' - Mikael Akerfeldt (Opeth)

Stoner rock/Heavy Psych band from Siena/Colle Val d’Elsa - Tuscany - Italy
This camel is certainly not a lone voice in the wilderness. Especially since LONELY KAMEL indeed sound like a desert, but in truth come from Norway. And obviously traditional Hard Rock can be produced quite exquisitely between fjords and endless forests, which sound nice, meaty and dry. On their fourth album the Norwegians act in the tension between Hard Rock from the seventies, Stoner Rock, Blues, Psychedelic and a dash of Doom.
Nine tracks with everything the genre has to offer: from the rough, punky title track, which has a certain punk attitude over extended jams to compact four-minute earwigs. And thus is clear: LONELY KAMEL clearly belong to the spearhead of the European Rocker scene.
Eremite (Genoa, Italy) is the solo band of Fabio Cuomo.. “Dragonarius” is the name of an ancient lake near Genoa, now completely dried up, where Fabio’s home rises and where he wrote and played the whole album, by himself, simply recording the music he wanted to listen to.
Erimite’s sound is highly influenced by the grim atmospheres of bands like Neurosis, Yob, Wolves in The Throne Room and Dissection. It is characterised by massive riffs, ever-evolving into black metal openings and nodder doom riffs, with a taste of classic music.
New York City sludge/doom/drone trio UNEARTHLY TRANCE re-emerge from the shadows with Stalking the Ghost, their sixth full-length recording and first album in over seven years.
An esoteric ritual of seismic doom, Stalking the Ghost taps into the darkest realms of the occult over the course of seven tracks that reek of utter despair. Forming a balance between slow-churning maelstrom and spine-chilling harmony, wrapped beneath a blackened cloud of rumbling feedback, UNEARTHLY TRANCE sound more powerful and exploratory than ever before.
Recorded at Menegroth/The Thousand Caves Studios by Colin Marston (Krallice, Gorguts, Panopticon) and featuring cover art by Orion Landau (YOB, Red Fang, Graves At Sea), Stalking the Ghost restores misery to a gentrifying city.
“Seeking Infinity” is a 60-minute cinematic journey through funeral doom landscapes. Those already familiar with the band, will be delighted by its twists and turns, presenting elements of brutal doom death metal and extreme blast beats, and turning with equal ease to ambient sounds, neofolk and post rock elements.
Recorded, mixed and engineered by drummer Daniel Neagoe (Shape of Despair, Clouds) and enhanced with the enchanting artwork of the band’s visual artist Cheryl, the album sounds and looks both modern and familiar.
It is sure to fill with nostalgia fans of old-school traditional funeral doom death, while also drawing to its mystical sound new followers for the years to come.

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN is a paradoxical phenomenon, fusing the raw punkish attitude of Hardcore with the mathematical precision of Progressive Extreme Metal and the spontaneity of Free Jazz. Though their complex song structures are hardly a recipe for easy listening, in the thirteen years of their existence the New Jersey outfit has risen from being an underground thrash band to a genre defining staple in today's musical landscape. Their latest masterpiece "Option Paralysis" features all their trademark furious breaks and asymmetric rhythmical patterns, but surprises us throughout with tasteful yet haunting melody.
THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN boldly go where no band dared to go before. "Option Paralysis" will be an inspiration for the next generation!
It took DEATHSPELL OMEGA almost nine years to complete their trilogy. “Paracletus” is the last chapter, following “Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice” and “Fas – Ite, Maledicti, in Ignem Aeternum” of their musical and spiritual quest, during which they put everything at risk.
The release closes the circle of the hallucinating sound of dissonant violence and menacing splendour, exploring the depths of abjection and corruption of the other worlds on high.

The rays of The Sonic Dawn are like a reminder that reality is only temporary. Flickering between light and darkness, their sound burns with an intensity that places the Danish trio among the top psychedelic acts of their time.
Eclipse, their third full-length, is the product of a full year’s labor, with all 13 tracks carefully selected among over 40 candidates. Inspired by personal tragedies and the current meltdown of the world as we know it, the songs deal with a feeling of despair that many will recognize, but also seem to say that we can heal and come out stronger, if we dare take the leap. The result is a cinematic journey in sonic technicolor. Here, even the catchiest melody casts a mysterious shadow.
Topped off by a gloriously gory artwork, the album alternates between quasi-Swedish buzz (‘Into Obliteration’) and blissfully hideous doom in the vein of Autopsy, at times even blackly blasting as in ‘Festering Alive’, constantly swinging and swashbuckling in equal measure.
Fast barnstormers like the opening ‘Resurrect the Source’, the impossibly catchy ‘The Trophy’ or the thrash tango that is ‘Desolate Animation’ brim with both youthful exuberance and the deliberate songcraft you’d expect from seasoned masters … which Evoked, too, are destined to become.
