Glitter Wizard ‎– Opera Villains - CD Digi

€12.99

Are they glam? Are they metal? Stoner rock? Psych? Prog? For over a decade, people have been trying to pin down Glitter Wizard but this San Francisco band refuses to be pigeonholed. Pulling influences from the entire heavy rock canon, G Wiz combines scorching guitar riffs and spaced out synths to creates something familiar, yet entirely new and weird. Their latest album, Opera Villains, brings the heat that we've come to expect from the band but adds a layer of dramatism that we haven't heard before.

DUEL is heavy psychedelic stoner doom metal from Austin, Texas. Hugely influenced by the darker sounds of early 70’s Proto-metal. Features two ex Scorpion Child (Nuclear Blast)members. Their sound is menacing and brutally old school. Total purists, their tunes cut right to the bone with heavy, deep groove and blistering tone. Tough and Loud! Hard rock as it should be!

Burzum ‎– Hvis Lyset Tar Oss - LP

'Hvis lyset tar oss' was the album that saw Burzum hit its peak and is Varg Vikernes' first true masterpiece.
Compared to the first couple of albums, Vikernes' conceptual ideas of Burzum seem to have fleshed out properly on 'Hvis lyset tar oss'. With a minimalistic approach, the content of this record is of a slightly more repetitive nature than previously, but what this album lacks in raw technical finesse, it makes up with unmatched atmosphere.

Darkthrone ‎– Too Old Too Cold - LP

The Too Old Too Cold EP had its original release at the dawn of 2006 and acted as a precursor to the band's triumphant Peaceville comeback album, the revelatory black and roll release, The Cult is Alive.
As a showcase for this sleek new incarnation of Darkthrone, and with the band firmly back in control of their sound courtesy of their new Necrohell 2 Studio set-up, Too Old Too Cold showed that the band was here to stay, and lead the way.

Commenting back then, Fenriz defined the shift in style as "probably something like MOTORHEAD meeting HELLHAMMER on a CRUST PUNK/NECROTHRASH gig in '85".
