'Goatlord' is the title of what was to originally be Darkthrone's second album.
The style followed very much in the vein of the debut, 'Soulside Journey', with a mid-paced melodic, yet technical death metal style.
After the recording of the tracks in their completed demo form in 1991, however, Darkthrone's focus shifted towards black metal and so the album was shelved, while work commenced on what was to be the Norwegian black metal milestone, 'A Blaze in the Northern Sky', which did actually incorporate some parts from the 'Goatlord' tracks. 'Goatlord' was only ever recorded instrumentally, and so it wasn't until 1994 that Fenriz added vocals to the songs, with the album eventually seeing a release on the band's then label, Moonfog Productions in 1996.

Philadelphia Heavy Psych quartet Ecstatic Vision (regarded as the second coming of vintage Hawkwind) returns with their new album “For the Masses!” After bursting onto the scene with their 2015 tribal-psychedelic LP, Sonic Praise, touring the USA with Yob and Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, crushing Roadburn, Ecstatic Vision have pulled themselves out of the muck to deliver their finest album to date.
This album is the closest the band has gotten to achieving the energy of their untouchable live shows on tape.

While it is not entirely wrong to still name Keitzer “the German Misery Index”, the band has ultimately established its very own niche with its latest effort.
“Where the Light Ends” sees the quintet effortlessly blasting a way through death metal, hardcore and crust that rips your head off as rigorously as Christian Silva Chaco has expressed himself in his lyrics.Traditionally straight and fast passages get combined with a certain melodicism that points towards early 90s Scandinavia, yet Keitzer not once lose any of the gall that made them the force of nature they are on stage.

Having gone strong for 20 years now, it is fair to say that Keitzer have reached a new plateau both musically and conceptionally!

22 years after their first release and 10 years after their last album, Nebula are back.

And you’re thinking “Holy shit!” right now, you pretty much nailed it. Holy Shit is Nebula’s first LP since 2009’s Heavy Psych, and it quickly puts to rest the question that’s loomed since guitarist/vocalist Eddie Glass, bassist Tom Davies and drummer Michael Amster announced the band’s reformation in 2017.

OREYEON'S new album ODE TO OBLIVION comes after two years of experimental sessions in their little studio recording nastled between the sea and the mountains in the north west of italy. This new full lenght crosses transversely all member's musical influences and takes shape leaving behind and definitely going beyond the rules that mostly describe the classical stonerrock genre. Just from the first track, a strong sense of nothingness blends into a long unsettling travel through a microcosm full of colours while black shapes lead the traveller into a spiral of nihilistic lyrics, title tracks and monolithic riffs all at the same time .

"This album is a collaborative effort and the sum of its parts. The basic riffs and song structures were done by myself and Gary Arce, but the contributions from Tony Reed, Lisa Alley, Ian Graham, Mario Lalli, Nick Oliveri, Bill Stinson, Per Wiberg and Alain Johannes make this record what it is.
There was never a discussion of what kind of music we wanted to make.
But if I had to describe it there are elements of Soundgarden, Pink Floyd, Yawning Man and Fu Manchu."

Sonic Wolves are a 70's style heavy rock band from Alessandria (Italy) featuring bassist Kayt Vigil (The Hounds Of Hasselvander, Pentagram, Rogue State), drummer Vita (Ufomammut, Rogue State) and guitarist Diniz (Temple Of Dust, Mexican Chili Funeral Party).

"Before The End Comes" is their debut album and was recorded at the end of 2015 at Ampire Studio in Pistoia, with Stefano Tocci serving as studio sound engineer.
