Thanatos is like a deep breath of fresh air for Implore's sound. It keeps the essence of the brutality in Depopulation adding some new details that bring the songs to a new level. The five tracks in this new EP are full of anger and hate, experimenting with new structures, riffs, and vocal lines, keeping the straight-to-the-point philosophy that makes this new 7" a short and intense one.

The Italian psych-fuzz trio Black Rainbows sound like the bastard offspring of 70's hard-rock swagger and 90's stoner-groove; hints of Black Sabbath, MC5 and Hawkwind fuse with liberal pinches of Monster Magnet and Fu Manchu. Since 2007 the band have released three full-length albums, coupled with split releases with bands such as White Hills, Naam and Farflung, and finally the recently highly acclaimed Holy Moon Ep. They have also been regulars on stages across the world having now performed over 300 gigs.

The 3rd album of the Germany Psychedelic/ Prog Rock band Mother Engine is a real unique piece of music, which, on one hand side, used to be a concept album to show the evolution of the “Mother Engine” in their fictive story of the same named spaceship and its crew as well as the evolution of the musicians themselve in songwriting and diy recording and production processes to really get inside of the implementation of their imagination. GRIND INC. started out as a side project of HATE FACTOR and NIGHT IN GALES members in 2001. The point was to make the most brutal music possible without neglecting groove and having shitloads of fun. Apparently, that worked out just fine and so the project became a real band after some time.

Long sought-after debut demo album by Norway’s Undisputed Kings of Slam, KRAANIUM. ‘No Respect for the Dead’ is the bands 2002 debut. The album featured 13 tracks of groove driven death metal. Before the bands evolution into the “Slam” genre, NRFTD was inspired by all things horror, while also being influenced by the likes of early Dying Fetus, Hemdale, Impetigo, and more.

Album art was once again made by Andreas Christanetoff of Armaada Art, who did a great job capturing the essence of the original demo art, as well as brought back to life the original Kraanium logo. This assured us capturing the glory of what NRFTD set out to be.

Violet Cold is one-man studio project from Azerbaijan started by Emin Guliyev in 2013.

kOsmik draws influence from so many different genres, starting off with pure post-rock in the vein of Lights Out Asia and other US references, slowly guitars become sharper and sharper, blackgaze and post-black metal kick in, and kOsmik takes off and simply leaves this planet. The succession between genres is natural and smooth, and the final track, a rearrangement of Bach's Air from the orchestral suite no. 3 in D major BWV 1068, feels a weird yet perfect conclusion to the Azeri's journey. 

Avantgarde Music is pleased to release the physical edition of kOsmik, which was originally published digitally earlier this year.
