On the back of last year's critically acclaimed "Amber & Gold" EP, Alunah return with "Violet Hour", the new album and first for Heavy Psych Sounds.
"Violet Hour" sees the energy of Alunah's dark, doom tinged hard rock being cranked up with the arrival of guitarist Dean Ashton (bass, Diamond Head) alongside the soaring vocals of Sian Greenaway and rhythmic foundation of Dan Burchmore and Jake Mason. Recorded at the historic Welsh Foel Studio and produced by Chris Fielding (Conan, Electric Wizard, Primordial) the 8 tracks on display show the fruits of a productive early 2019 with a searing combination of melodies, riffs and focused writing.

One of the most important Psych - Acid Rock albums of the new millenium. The Dzjenghis Khan self-titled debut album was released in 2007 by the Dutch indipendent label Motorwolf. The San Francisco based band Dzjenghis Khan featured bassist Carson Binks (also in Wild Eyes and Saviours), drummer Tommy Tomson and guitarist Lane Rider. This record reflects the musical scene of that era and it's still a raw acid rock pearl! Heavy Psych Sounds Records is so proud to bring back to the current audience a piece of real Acid Rock. Dzjenghis Khan was one of the first bands to bring back the “psych sound”, in a time where there was not real audience, we can say they've been pioneers after the pioneers!

Re-issue of French/Gereman growling melancholic doom band's 1st demo. This version is including "Keep on Selling Cocaine to Angels" which was originally released on split 7" with AG. Extremely simple and slow rythm, sorrowful guitar melodies, hysteric low growling vocals unleashing his own pain from the depth of soul. The most strong point of their music is well-constructed songs with catchy melodies. Unfortunately the drummer/vocalist Max(he played drum after 1st demo) had already died, but Daniel found new members and keep the flame of doom.

Portland, Oregon based quartet Hippie Death Cult present their sophomore album "Circle Of Days".
An album that serves as a musical bridge to their critically acclaimed debut “111”, while being a fresh exploration of sound and vision.
"Circle Of Days" is a pensive reflection of frustration and hope, experienced as we evolve from the confinements of self indulgence and into a more altruistic mindset. Listeners new to HDC can expect to hear a band that feels familiar yet also unique.

Hippie Death Cult are a group with their own musical identity. One that manages to be influenced by great rock and metal bands of the past while not becoming a blueprint of them.

Long sought-after debut demo album by Norway’s Undisputed Kings of Slam, KRAANIUM. ‘No Respect for the Dead’ is the bands 2002 debut. The album featured 13 tracks of groove driven death metal. Before the bands evolution into the “Slam” genre, NRFTD was inspired by all things horror, while also being influenced by the likes of early Dying Fetus, Hemdale, Impetigo, and more.

Album art was once again made by Andreas Christanetoff of Armaada Art, who did a great job capturing the essence of the original demo art, as well as brought back to life the original Kraanium logo. This assured us capturing the glory of what NRFTD set out to be.

Vultures is an EP of the swedish stoner band Dozer.
Recorded in 2004-2005 at Rockhouse Studios in Borlänge, these six tracks were used as pre-production demos for what would later become the fourth Dozer album, 2005’s Through the Eyes of Heathens.

The album is now released for the first time on vinyl and digipak with a very special unreleased bonus track, a cover of the Sunride song Vinegar Fly.
Vultures is a real heavy-stoner explosion, something that only Dozer can provide.
The amazing artwork is made by Lowrider leader Peder Bergstrand.

French doom/death Ataraxie's 10th anniversary album.
This album contains re-arranged and re-recorded version of "The Other Path" demo, 2 exclusive tracks and live tracks recorded at "les festins sonores" festival in May 2008.
On "Unholy Prayer", Ende from Fatum Elisum is featured as guest vocal.
