Wojtek is a band from Padua (IT) founded in May 2019 by 5 well known musicians of the local scene. The name comes from the Polish bear who heroically fought in the battle of Cassino. The band does not identify their influences in a genre of belonging, but the ferocity of the compositions, the dirty sounds and the love for the dark moods and noise enclose them within the sludge metal cauldron.
LP number five in this series of eight albums with complete sessions which were made for various 7”EP’s, recorded and released between 1990 and 2003.
This one here contains 19 songs recorded and mixed in April 1997 at the SOUNDSHAPE-studios in Arendonk, Belgium.

The band was formed back in 2020 by Lorenza (guitar/vokillz), Gigi (bass) and Dave (drums) to create some morbid and putrefied tunes. Early 2021 they entered the ADSR DECIBEL studio and recorded 4 catchy, ear-crawling rotten songs, including „Slumber“ a cover version by old Swedish veterans NIRVANA 2002 .
Highly recommended for fans of KRYPTS, CRUCIAMENTUM, DISMA etc. Responsible for the artwork is the Spanish artist César Valladares Fernández (Krisiun, Nominon, Necropsy, Decapitated Christ).
