The french duo comes back with a new album, Modern Rituals, plunging deeper into the urban blend of noise and sludge already settled on their previous release, Ville Morgue.
This new record expresses all their skepticism and unease towards a society where sarcasm and mediocrity became criterias of appreciation if not values to be defended at all cost. A society that constantly and repeatedly broadcasts its own decay, drowning masses in a sea of ignorance and ready-made reflections.

Modern Rituals marks on a new step in Carne’s methodical research of more darkness, loudness and sombre psychedelism.

On the aptly named 'Darkthrone Holy Darkthrone', eight Norwegian Black Metal legends pay tribute to the inspirational band that helped define the genre and pave the way for decades of destruction to come.
Originally released in 1998, the album was in honour of Darkthrone's first 10 years of existence.

The album mainly focuses on Darkthrone’s earliest works, from the blasting opener from the ‘A Blaze in the Northern Sky’ album - courtesy of Satyricon - via the experimental rendition of ‘The Pagan Winter’ from Thorns.
Closing with Immortal’s ‘To Walk the Infernal Fields’, this is a faithful and passionate tribute to an essential band given an individual touch from each act involved.

Re-issue of French/Gereman growling melancholic doom band's 1st demo. This version is including "Keep on Selling Cocaine to Angels" which was originally released on split 7" with AG. Extremely simple and slow rythm, sorrowful guitar melodies, hysteric low growling vocals unleashing his own pain from the depth of soul. The most strong point of their music is well-constructed songs with catchy melodies. Unfortunately the drummer/vocalist Max(he played drum after 1st demo) had already died, but Daniel found new members and keep the flame of doom.

High Reeper is back with their second release Higher Reeper and they aren’t fucking around. Easterfaust by The Cosmic Dead: a magic carpet ride that began in the hazy days of August 2013 when the cosmics spent five days in a remote isolated garage in the Scottish Highlands with only Focaccia king Luigi Pasquini for company.
Easterfaust was the first momentous improvisation from this session to be released and captures the band in a moment of sheer, vibrant exuberance feeling their way through 42 minutes of visceral augmented repetition which metamorphs from the distant echo of space rock to an all-encompassing climactic synchronicity of sound.
Originally released in 2014, this long sold-out and sought after album is now repressed by Sound Effect Records and will be available in 3 limited vinyl editions and CD.

Australian noisy psych project LIGHT PILLARS consisting of Toby – Guitars (Hotel Wrecking City Traders) and Andrew - Drums (Comacozer) came together in June 2019 at Cellar Sessions Studios in Melbourne for an improved jam session. Both bands having played together previously and after some ideas and banter being thrown around the two decided to finally get together and see what the cosmos can produce and this release debut self-titled release resulting in 4 tracks of noisy dark heavy instrumental psych rock. Recorded in one session with Max behind the recording desk and mastered by Kent Stump (Crystal Clear Sound Studios, Dallas, Texas USA) and amazing artwork by Dora Wednesday, this is one journey taking diverse release.
